EyeBrock EyeBrock:
I think a bit of public humiliation for criminals is a good thing.

will the store manager be wainting until there is a confirmed convict or will he be bypassing due process?

Due process? LMAOOOO this coming from some shmuck who thinks he has the right to murder someone stealing HIS property. Yet you expect some store owner that caught the bastard red handed to follow due process??? You make me laugh you sad little hypocrit.

lol I probably did say that I feel I have that right, but truthfully, shoplifting is not the same as soomeone in my living room.

At my home, If the guy point a gun at me, I have the right to shoot him, dropping his gun and running away doesn't place an imaginary shield around him. be prepared to get shot in the arse.

Someone stealing a couple sour candies out of the candy aisle deserves due process.

I would suggest that it is you that might be a hypocrit to suggest otherwise

oh I see. The shoplifter is never armed but the burglar always is?? Now you wanna make up apples and oranges to compare. And living room nothing, you were one of the ones cheerleading the shmuck that was firing blindly at those would be ATV thieves. So unless buddy kept his ATV in the living room, your "example" holds no validity. Especially considering the would be thieves had brandished no weapons themselves.
You clearly expressed that people should have the right to be judge, jury and executioner, even in circumstances when some POS isn't in their living room or any other part of the house, and isn't even armed for that matter. Yet you hope some shoplifter was given due process before being "put on display".
There is not ONCE in all these threads were I have ever said no one should have the right to defend their home and family. I have even suggested on more than one occassion that a shotgun is a much more effective home defense weapon than a pea shooter. So sorry, I'm not the hypocrit here

fight fire with fire,if the stores arent waiting for due process then i have no problem with a government agency slamming fines down on them before any due process to determine if the fines are warranted.

whats good for the goose is good for the gander

Yep, fight fire with fire. If people aren't waiting for due process and are going around shooting unarmed people stealing their property that's NOT in their house, then I have no problem with the police and court system slamming them with a criminal conviction and sentencing them to hard time for murder in cases of death, or aggravated assault in cases of injury.
Where exactly was the due process when your hero, ATV boy started blazing away at retreating, unarmed people? I'd say getting shot is a FUCK of a lot worse than having one's picture put up as a known scum bag without the benefit of due process.
Hey, I know, how about store owners just shoot shoplifters? Then you won't have to care about whether the poor dears recieved due process because shooting thieves is something you agree with. And let's face it, those shoplifters are IN the store owner's property, not just on it so they'd be deserving to get shot.
