Cheers, EyeBrock for mentioning the efforts of Dutch help in A. I have no idea how many soldiers there are and how they help.

You know, it kinda makes me sad. I know all the soldiers are doing a great job, but I fear the time when all the soldiers are gone.

Brenda Brenda:
Because Canadians are pretty ignorant when it comes to the rest of the world. (HUGE generalization... There are exceptions)

Your post telling me I am "Canadian now, why would you care about the rest of the world" said it all, imo...

As opposed to those wordly Dutch knowing everything about every other country on the planet.

Geesh. Did I say that?
Its a fact that North Americans are WAY more focussed on their own continent than on any other. As opposed to Europeans. I haven't seen much European issues in the news here, while Dutch news has a section "world".
Geesh, we even get taught 4 languages in school, as opposed to 1 here!

Right. Thanks for your support.
Extending their stay 'cause no one else would. Having your back... Doing nothing. Sure

Well, you're Canadian now, so what do you care?

Too funny. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but isn't nihilistic and isolationistic nationalism supposed to be the sole domain of rude Americans?

Really....

Rude American Rude American:
Well, you're 'Merican now, so what do you care?

Funny every news source I've read has a world section, but when I was in Europe this past September the world news consisted of Europe!

Looking at Holland these days I'll bet one of the languages is either farsi or arabic! 8O

I think my point got missed. I was asking Brenda why she cares if I dis the Dutch, since she's chosen to leave her homeland to come to Canada. Ie where are her loyalties. Why do I owe the Dutch support?

Ah there's arseholes everywhere you go.

Upon returning to Canada, I had trash thrown at me by some punks from Ontario for driving a truck with American plates on it. If my little American Ranger was any faster I would have caught up with them for a chat. :x

There's arseholes in Canada.

The only confused one here is yourself. I found the average European both ignorant and rude. Rudeness that would result in a severe beating in North America.

Isn't it Holland that's prosecuting a man for saying bad things about Islam? Sorry Brenda but your old country is surrendering to militant Islam and it won't be too long before it institutes Sharia law.

According to Brenda there is nothing but worldly, cosmopolitan people in Europe compared to us low, back-water colonials.
