Nice straw man. I was specifically talking about muslims. You just had to throw in Omar Khadr as if his family applies to all muslims. I think curtman recognizes the fact that Omar Khadr family is unfit. You're trying to accuse him of something he never said in the first place.

I believe every discussion I've ever had in this forum goes like that. It's a black and white world here. If I speak against racism and stereotyping, then I support terrorism. If I speak about marijuana law reform, I'm a drug trafficker. If I speak about honoring the charter of rights and freedoms, I love Omar Khadr and hate the troops. They're a simple people, but it's still fun sometimes.

I think curtman recognizes the fact that Omar Khadr family is unfit. You're trying to accuse him of something he never said in the first place. However, that should have no bearing on wether or mot muslims are unfit parents. You're presumption of guilt by association is ridiculous. What happened to people being personal responsible of their actions instead of being judged by their religion? Grow up.

This is about unfit parents not muslims. The Khadr's just happen to be muslim and you brought up the muslim factor not me. I don't care what religon they are, the fact is they went to a warzone to fight our allies. You may not see that as a crucial factor whether childrens aid should come in and perhaps consider taking their kids away but I do and it was never done, that's what my beef is.

Different sets of laws depending on race, sex or religon in this country, if you can't see that trek on Magoo.

The parents weren't punished. They had their children removed for the well being of the children. Just read in the paper today that mom is back in Manitoba and is working with Children's services to regain custody of her kids. She's got a tough row to hoe, but if she can do it, and not hook up with another dick head, the kids are probably best off with her, even if she is a racist.

I did not bring the muslim factor in this thread. go back to page one and read some of the comments about muslims. I made some observations about other peoples posts concerning the religious bashing on page 1. The issue here isn't wether or not omar's parents are unfit or not, it is your accusations and faulty reasoning. You accuse people of saying something without providing any evidence at all. You just accused me of of bring up the subject of muslims when it was already apparent people were making hasty generalizations in page 1 which is why I made that post in the first place. You're making mountains out of molehills.

This is the world I create for my children. Because I seriously do not care with who they play or come home with, and this is what I tell my kids. If there were more people who did that, racism would be a thing of the past in no time.
