BartSimpson BartSimpson:
But as you pointed out, the social divide of the conservative and liberal US states also is present in the Canadian provinces. Were the US to fracture along political lines I don't see Ontario and Quebec as having the sense to stay out of it. They'd absolutely align with the liberal US states and that could potentially cause Alberta and etc. to align with the conservative states.

At its conclusion such a fragmentation could result in a very interesting political map of North America.

You sure know how to spoil the fun by being all serious, don't you? Actually lots of people on the west coast have been advocating one country from BC to northern California for quite some time.

I dunno. I heard she said he tasted pretty good. She's certainly got the big hair and all, but she's a little old for him. Plus she wouldn't shut up, even when he stuck his driver in her mouth.

For a little tasteless humour: Could she have been looking up Tiger Wood's phone number? He's has an opening on his schedule these days.

There's some Russian fellow who predicted the breakup of the USA and Canada before the end of this year and he prophesied ten new regional nations to come out of the mess and that Pacific coastal nation was one of them.

This Russian dude may have a point. There are a number of folks who feel the border or borders should run north to south and not east to west.

Mr_Canada Mr_Canada:
CNN, anyone willing to dip into this dramatic stuff. Quite a lot of people actually.

Including a few on this board.

Is it just me, or does the name "Sarah Palin" just bring in some people angry over Republicans or whatever?

Americans should be angry, Canadians are just scratching their heads and chuckling over it. Anyways, she makes our politicians look good.

Mr_Canada Mr_Canada:
Do you want Alberta? You can totally have Alberta.

Free of charge, you just have to pick it up by tomorrow.

BC will take it. BC and Alberta as a country would kick ass (throw in Saskatchewan if you want). The rest of Canada would just become a good place to go for cheap hookers. Mexico North.

Mr_Canada Mr_Canada:
Let's get one thing straight - Just because people talk about an idiot doesn't mean we're going to elect the idiot.

Um, yes it does.

Oh, and in the spirit of bipartisanship there's this too...

Mr_Canada Mr_Canada:
Bart raises this one all the time.

I'm not sure where the "friendship" is in this uncomfortable and insulting threat.

I'm personally all for a full sovereignty movement to remove any and all American influence and change our trade plans.

The fact that we have (had?) the longest undefended border and we trade with each other more then anyone else is awfully cute, but insanely dangerous with an alcoholic overweight gambler prone to gun craziness and voter stupidity.

Friendship shouldn't stand in the way of our national survival. It's not our fault they've ruined their economy and ruined their country, we should not have to be there with them.

We shouldn't feel every shiver of the elephant.

Hello? When it comes to bolstering Canadian sovereignty when have I EVER not been in favor of that? Canadian sovereignty is the one thing I consistently agree with you on so I'd appreciate it if you'd dare to think before you accuse me of insulting Canada just because you're so biased that you can't imagine an American being in support of a strong and sovereign Canada.

For somebody who's supposed to be stupid, lame, and not worth worrying about, Sarah sure seems to worry her opposition.

Check this out. Tingles doesn't approve of charisma anymore.
