Also I guess we can include the 2009-2010 entire Toyota lineup for the list?

Like I said on another thread, I took my Tundra into Toyota for the recall and it took them 10 minutes to solve the problem. Done. No big deal, no real inconvenience. Nothing compared to having a breakdown in the middle of nowhere.

Mechanically the Edsel was a very sound car but as far as looks it was a disaster so not sure what they are using to qualify as worst - mechanical woes or poor sales :? :?

True, but from what I read, the Explorer was the one that set off the SUV craze.

Anyway, the Honda Element and the Nissan Cube deserves to be on there for pure ugliness.

Don't forget the Honda Ridgeline. Ugliest truck ever...

Amen.

Also I guess we can include the 2009-2010 entire Toyota lineup for the list?

XD No way. My Tundra is better looking than Dodge/GMC any day. Ford/Nissan make nice looking trucks.

I don't think you're getting your moneys worth Gunny. I also compared to a comparable Dodge.

Nonesense. My Tundra gets better mileage than my '04 Jeep TJ that it replaced, and that's moving from a 4.0L 6 cylinder 3500lb vehicle, to a 5.7L V8 that weighs 7200lbs. I drove the thing from Guelph to Sault Ste Marie and back on a fishing trip last summer. It was loaded with gear and provisions for 4 guys, plus I towed my trailer and 1000lb boat. We drove as far as an hour a day to piss around to a bunch of lakes during the the week and it cost me $285 return. My Tundra is great on fuel.

2wd/6 sp/4.6L (or similar)

2009 GMC Sierra - 14/20
2009 Ford F150 - 15/20
2009 Dodge Ram - 14/19
2009 Tundra - 15/20
2009 Titan - 13/18

Tundra/Ford are considered best overall.

I have a 1970 dodge tradesman 300 (1 ton) campervan with a 360 V8 in it, by doing the speed limit I can get 19-20 mpg on a straight highway trip to my fav campsite.

I borrowed my brother's 2005 5.7 Tundra thinking that i could save some money moving my RV, and the best I could do on the same trip was 16.5 mpg. And, to add insult to injury, it sucked for power compared to my 40 year old Dodge. Toyota makes a nice vehicle, but they have alot to learn about how north americans use pickup trucks.
