I was one who commented in the other thread concerning deer. I do think it's wrong to feed wildlife in general but don't feel it's wrong when helping to rehabilitate an animal who's suffered an injury, two different scenarios. To me he's not doing anything different than what a wildlife rehabilitation center would do.

There was this story on the local news here about some woman feeding some deers every day.

There was a wildlife expert that said not always good for humans to feed them on a regular basis. Something about their pattern and considering certain seasons.

The two situations are very different. They really shouldn't be compared at all.

It'll be nice to hear that the cow has healed and moved on with her calf.

No I know, figured that I would post it anyways. Eventhough not having all the details. :)

Still, not so sure about it being such a good thing to feed wild animals though. At least not for a prolong period of time. Helping during the healing process is ok. But as soon as healed, they need to rely on nature and not depend on humans for its food source.
