You know it's cold when your snot freezes.

You know it's cold when you pee and it freezes before it hits the ground.
Actually Bart, I have tried this at -52 C. Your pee does not freeze before it hits the ground, however, ya gets alot of pee steam. And it does freeze quick after it hits the ground.

You're not doing it right. Arc it up into the air to give it some extra 'hang time' so it has a chance to freeze.

Ahhh, it wasn't so bad. I went all over the place on Saturday and Sunday (even filled up the car at -34) and for the most part it was bearable. Hell, most of the time I didn't even have my jacket zipped up!

No matter how bad it is, I still prefer extreme cold to extreme heat. At least with the cold, you can toss on another sweater or thicker gloves, but once the temp goes too high, you get arrested for taking too much off!

Sounds like a source of some major and very uncomfortable frostbite. :(

And for that matter, its out, off and in-- winter and summer (blackflies are fun.)

That sounds fun.
The coldest it has even been in Wisconsin is -55 (in 1996). I remember that day, I don't think I went outside that entire week.

I always liked throwing water up in the air at cold temps and watching it freeze. It would be a GREAT day to be at the West Edmonton Mall :D I think the coldest I have ever been outside for was -36 in Northern Minnesota snowmobiling. Talk about an INSANE windchill

Really cold doesn't mean much. As long as you bundle up enough it won't affect you too much.

You are really right here. Snowmobiles require special gear (or very low I.Q.s)

OMG don't go snowmobiling at that temp! If you ever do, you'll never do it again.
We do Internet here that requires a dishlike thing on your roof. Get this, FOUR people who signed up Saturday called to see why we weren't there yesterday (it was -39C fer fux sakes).

I've been snowmobiling at -40, it's not that bad. Just gotta dress for it.
