The good news is that if there's a group of whackos climbling parliament buildings, that's a group of whackos that isn't doing anything truly harmful to anyone, like harassing fishermen or fur clothing stores or blocking highways or whatever else.

Thanos Thanos:
Is it currently cold enough in Ottawa to make it amusing to leave them up there freezing for a couple of days? :?

My thoughts exactly. Why spend a nickel's effort, when they come down to warm up arrest them for trespassing.
It's what they DO. Ignoring them until they freeze and give up would be embarrassing. Who cares?

Yeah, if they're busy climbing the Peace Tower or stacks at Syncrude at least it means they're not out spiking trees trying to kill loggers and sawmill workers.

Nice classy people. Again, why exactly aren't they considered criminals or terrorists?

"Again, why exactly aren't they considered criminals or terrorists?" Do you equate this statement with classy? They hung a banner.

Come on... It's the CBC. Their still playing "an Inconvienient Truth" and refuse to even discuss Climategate or the leaks. Their so far up Al Gore's ass they don't know which way is up anymore.

They should have just turned the hoses on them.

You're clueless.

Yeah, climbing a building and hanging a sign ain't exactly the same as ploughing a plane full of people into a skyscraper. A little perspective please.

They ran The Inconvenient Truth again Sunday night. Any network who would broadcast that piece of shit after all the errors revealed in it must have butt breath.

How do you know they don't discuss Climate Gate? Do you watch it. I rarely watch the news, but it was Christmas carsd tonight and so I had the news on--CBC and CTV. Both mentioned Climategate.

Do you ever get sick of being wrong all the time?

Yeah, yeah that nasty Al Gore. The man was vice-president of the United States, and has an Academy Award and a Nobel Peace Prize. What you done for the world lately? Made a few posts making fun of Iggy?

An Academy award as a documentary, which has been proven to be nothing short of fantasy. As far as the Nobel prize goes, they gave Obama one for what they HOPE he does, certainly not for what he did in his first ten days of office. The Nobel Prize for Peace is a joke.

Was it mentioned anywhere about the emergency service resources pulled away from regular duties to deal with these dickheads? Sort of like the Jack ass Tamils in Toronto this past summer.

The only thing "proven" is your amazing lack of knowledge of the issue. Let's quote from the judgment that I'm sure you're referring to--not that you'd have bothered to actually back up any of your drivel with actual evidence. That would be clearly beyond you. But fear not, fortunately I actually have two braion cells to rub together so I'll do it for you:

http://www.bailii.org/ew/cases/EWHC/Admin/2007/2288.html

$1:
[Thew film] is substantially founded upon scientific research and fact, albeit that the science is used, in the hands of a talented politician and communicator, to make a political statement and to support a political programme...

These propositions [AGW], Mr Chamberlain submits (and I accept), are supported by a vast quantity of research published in peer-reviewed journals worldwide and by the great majority of the world's climate scientists.

I have no doubt that Dr Stott, the Defendant's expert, is right when he says that:

"Al Gore's presentation of the causes and likely effects of climate change in the film was broadly accurate."

I know this is diofficult for uber-conservatvies like you. Unfortuantely you're in such a constant state of mouth-foaming range that you've long ago lost your capacity for rational thought

yes 2CDO, I'm sure your contributions to humankind that consist of--what?--wearing your pantsline around your nipples and complaining about the government full time rate so much higher than Mr. Gore's. Since you think peace is a joke and understand the world basically on par with the outlook ofa 8 year old schoolground bully, I imagine that the Nobel Peace prize would be completely beyond your dim comprehension--and therefore a joke to you.

I look forward to your lame-ass angry response so I can bat that one out of the park as well.

Seriously? You want to try to defend Al Gore? Batter up.

He wasn't able to get all Al gore's errors in an Inconvenient truth on 1 video. You can link to Part 2 at Youtube. I can give you more fraud, hypocrisy, and errors than that if you like.
