I'm not talking about PEOPLE being infected but the EGGS while they are cultivating the virus in them. They use eggs to grow the virus but they had problems doing that since the eggs were dying.

So they thought they could produce X vaccines in Z weeks but they ended up producing X/(Y>1) in Z weeks.

Must be the economist in me, but I'm sexually aroused by your mathematical model.

I think there's a vaccine for that too. 8O

I should have noted, that for the math to support Proc's hypothesis, we need to add one note to the equation:

{X > 1} also

Ahhhhh, that got me off.

Alberta shut down their vacine clinics this weekend, and when they reopen this week, they will be for high risk people only.

But what does high risk mean? If a child is high risk, then shouldn't anyone around children be included, and if so that is most of the population.

A number of provinces, including Nova Scotia, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta, face vaccine shortages after a production problem at the manufacturer's plant last week slowed delivery of the drug.

An emergency swine-flu debate in the House of Commons was called Monday night after a request by the federal Liberals and NDP, who accused the Harper government of incompetence.

Incompetence at its best...off with their heads!

Classy, classy Liberals.
Did Hedy Fry get her shot yet? We all must agree that MPs are far more "entitled" to advanced medical aid than their constituants.

How can u call it incompetence on the part of the government when in yor very own qoute it says there was a production problem at the plant? Did I miss the announcement that the torys would be running the plant themselves?

:? ...so does that mean that since I don't have an egg allergy I can order it any way I want?...I'll take mine poached on toast please... :D

Gotta love politicians...what a bunch of grand standing assholes. I say we fire the entire House of Commons and only allow those who have never been elected to be even an elementary school class president to run for federal politics. Maybe then we would get some MP's that actually give a shit about something other then their own political future.
