When is it racist to deny a person entry into your country who has no right to be there? Fuck 'em, she has no rights as a citizen or as a refugee. Let the bitch rot there.

Unfortunately we have a whole industry built up around allowing wankers into Canada.
The IRB is rotten to the core and we have plenty of lefty politicians ready to pounce on anybody who dares criticise the lax immigration 'rules' and denounce them as racist.
Plenty of parties have found that pandering to the vast immigrant vote wins lots of seats.

I have to single out the Libs at the moment. Two private members bills on the table during this session are:

Amending the Pensions Act so that immigrants will get OAS in 3 years instead of 10 years. ( Ruby Dhalla, Liberal).

Amending the Immigration act to specifically cater to "War Resistors", as in US military volunteers who have deserted and ran off to hide in Canada. (Gerard Kennedy, Liberal).

Looks like two different people to me, not to mention the 7cm height discrepancy. And she's trying to shake us down for 2.5 mil ? the nerve.

Lots of questions and red herrings on both sides of this issue.

These photos have been confirmed to be the same person by experts, the differences attributed to normal changes in appearance that occur over the time that passed between them and the fact that the most recent one was taken by kenyan officials using a fish-eye lens with a low-quality camera plus the fact that she is crying in the photo.

BUT....the real problem here seems to be that the info she provided in her immmigration app and later used to obtain subsequent govt documents is inaccurate, ie slightly wrong birthdates, etc. The personal info she gave to consular officials appears to be mostly correct but doesnt match so she seems to be telling the truth now but was lying ealier on her original app years ago when she first came here. But why lie and change her sons bday from October 5 to October 3 for example? Also it appears confirmed that she has no sister as she claimed while being detained but there is one listed on her app.


I can think of some possible explanations such as these shady immmigration "consultants" that fill out these forms for new immigrants, but I would rally like to hear their explanation for this, so far theyre not saying much.

Whether she filled her application out or some 'scamming' immigration consultant did it for her, it just shows how porous and in need of change our immigration system is.

I came here by going through the right procedure, waiting in line for 2 years and upgrading my skill set in order to get into Canada.

Hundreds of thousands of liars and cheats didn't and thousands more liars and cheats come here every month. Stop apologising for the liars.

well, she came as a refugee, not a skilled worker, its different. Its also not obvious yet that shes a liar (but entirely possible!)

Refugees often have problems with documentation, firstly because they come from countries documents are practically non-existant and secondly because refugees often flee their homes in the middle of the night with nothing but the shirt on their backs. Third, they have to fill out forms in a foreign langauge which not only exposes them to errors but incompetent/unscrupulous officials or intermediaries who help them complete those forms. Fourth, these people can come from ways of life where the info were asking is not known. What use does a goat herder who lives in a straw hut sub-saharan africa have for knowing his height in cm? They know theyre a head taller than paul and two hands shorter than jim and that but they cant read or write and have little use for standard units of measurement. During my years of getting drivers licenses and going to the doctor, I have been alternatively measured as exactly 6' by some and 6' 0.5" by others, I'm still not sure which is correct. I actually don't know my height in cm off the top of my head, I could easily be off by 7cm if I had to guestimate it and thats with me living in a modern society.

So the above are all possible reasons why a refugee app could be incorrect from honest mistakes. Add to that the fact that refugees are fleeing for their lives and desperate to escape a grisly fate and you have an incentive for even the most honest among them to "pad their resume" so to speak and maybe claim a relative that they dont really have or use their maiden name instead of a married name if the rumour mill at the refugee camp tells them it will get them in or speed up their processing or that the forces they are fleeing are screening the apps looking for certain people.

Again, Im not saying any of this applies to the case at hand, but all of the above happen regularly so there are plenty of alternative explanations that could be possible here besides deliberate and malicious fraud.
