Brenda Brenda:
We are talking a pregnant woman who denies her pregnancy and when she has her baby, kills it. And you want to drag male hormones into it, because they are "worse". Ok.

Uh no. YOU were the one who brought up hormones claiming, "I have no idea what it's like to deal with hormones", and I never once even insinuated they were "worse" (even though you have merely by bringing them up).

I simply point out the FACT that if I tried to use hormones as an excuse for toddler murder I would be laughed outta court.

MAC1767 MAC1767:
if you were the father of the baby, and you came home and found that your wife had put a plastic bag over your newborn babys head and killed it, what would you do to the mother? pat her on the back and tell her its fine? thats ok dear, we will try again? NO, your going to kick the shit out of her, and most likely go to jail for a hell of alot longer than she will.

Which is exactly what is not right here.
This "lady" should be punished way harsher. 25 to life and treatment in a mental facility comes to mind...

You brought up hormonses as an excuse NOT me...

YOU made the assumption that "I don't know what it's like to deal with hormones", not me.

YOU'RE the one making excuses, not me.

you said:
$1:
You obviously have NO clue what I am talking about. Of course I don't know what male hormones do to a man. Just like YOU have no clue what hormones (and pregnancies) do to a woman. Don't claim you do, and don't dismiss the fact it is not a walk in the park.

And I pointed out that, sure, while we don't know about "each other's" hormones we do know one thing: if a man tried to use it as an excuse for murder he'd be lamblasted, but when a woman does it suddenly there's room for debate. That pisses you off as it typically does piss off women who think their gender is special, but too bad.

Whatever. I've made you backpedal enough to be satisfied with the result.

READ MY DAMNED REPLIES! I do NOT use them as an excuse. I guess you are just too freaking stubborn to read what I write.

Don't even dare to make it personal while you have no clue who or what I am or what I stand for. Stop generalizing.

The only thing that pisses me off (if anything) is your lack of comprehension, understanding, and reading skills.

FYI, I am allergic to stupidity, and my rash is pretty irritating now.

Akhenaten Akhenaten:
Just another example where women have 'excuses' while a man in the same position would have 'responsibility'. Sorry to say it like that but it's true. If this was a man all his crying and 'emotional mental state' jibberish would be moot.

(sits waiting for a woman to tell him he doesn't know what it's like to have a child -- as if that could excuse it)

Correct me if I am wrong, but weren't YOU the first to bring up the "emotional mental state"?

God, you fail soooo bad...

Sexist...

Whatever.

I said this:
$1:

And you couldn't let it stand, you replied with:
$1:
I will be the first to tell you you are talking a load of bullshit. I guess you have no clue what hormones can do to someone. Combine that with a mental disorder and this is what you get.

You DON'T know what it is like to have a child. So don't pretend you know you do.

So yeah I do read your replies and you're the one witht he assumptions. That you changed your tune later but persisted with your anger at me in the classic pouty vien of "it might be true but you shouldn't say it" is meaningless to me.

Um no I wasn't. You were. This has been established, and no it's obvious YOU are the sexist when you assume female hormonal reactions are more important or harder to deal with than male hormones, which is what you did.

Sorry but you're the sexist. Deal with it.

I'd agree with that. I'm not a big fan of philologists but if this woman was actually deranged then she needs help and restraint, not jail.
