Racism in Canada can be bad some parts. Even in the large cities there is racism. Racism is not only exclusive to whites either.

That being said, Manifest Destinity sounds like a typical white nationalist. Its almost as every WN uses the same posts, they just re-copy and paste them.

The US department of Justice, the justice department of a country that has a vastly different history than that of Canada.

Living in Texas and California I found racism to be more bigoted. They are glad to take your money, but they don't want to associate with you on a personal level.

Now in Alberta, my ex-wife and I go out together and people will stop and stare. Wow a mixed couple in Alberta.

Lethbridge has to be about the worse. I just smile and flip them off. Ignorance fucks.

Canada once touted as the most tolerant, multicultural nation in the world is becoming a generation of haters. They want to blame minorities for all their problems and act it out.

My experience is quite different. I have been in mixed race marriage for over 30 years. There have been moments of discrimination, but there is less now then when we first started to date. Almost no one gives us a second glance anymore. If you are looking for discrimination you can put a negative spin on a lot of innocent actions.

For example the clerk in the store ignores you, the customer, so she can talk to a co-worker. Discrimination? You might think so if you are a visible minority, but it really is just an example of poor training as she treats all customers just as badly.

I have not found it much different in small or large centres. People are people. Some good and some bad. It only takes a few ignorant souls to make it seem like a large number are against you.

Just a question... If you think of us as "anti-American", while we are basicly just "pro-Canada" (fyi, that is not the same...) why do you waste your time here?

As a European, I can see the differences clearly... Between the US and Canada, and Canada and Europe, even between countries in Europe. That's not necessarily a bad thing, just a difference.

Raises the question though... WHY do you think the US is mightier than everything else?
