Did they make a "big deal" about it, or simply report it. I think making an apology for such a false statement is News. I don't care who you are, if you're in a position of Power and get caught outright Lying(although by mistake)that is a big deal and newsworthy. I've been sick of Harper's constant campaigning for a long time, seems this was just another attempt at it.

Well they did say they immediately went on the PR campaign with the media to correct what Harper said.... probably soon enough before anybody could publish it.

Once again, not exactly a big deal, but when you add this up along with all the other various blunders of Harper, his competence sure falls under the spot light of questioning in regards to being leader of our nation.
