Scape Scape:

You know what else is interesting?

Although the Huff post, and others are falling all over themselves making sure the public knows there are "rumors" Palin is worried about some sort of unknown, criminal investigation, it doesn't appear to think those people should know the actual hard news where the FBI says there is no investigation of Palin.

Well, rumors are part and parcel with any public office. Even non-public office work has it's own rumor mills. So how does the FBI investigate a rumor? Still, where there is smoke there is fire. Since when does a Governor of any state just suddenly step down and not expect people to wonder aloud as to why?

Palin and Kim Campbell separated at birth? Going by how quickly the "mania" over both died out and how similiar their resignations were maybe there's some shared sort of quitter gene hiding there in the old woodpile.

Maybe there's a need to find a Sarah Clinton or a Hillary Palin.

Another thing I'm noticing about the way the Leftern media is handling this story is they characterize her resignation as meandering and incoherent. If you pick the right bits of any speech by anybody you can support that kind of claim, but what about this bit...

$1:
And we are doing well! My administration's accomplishments speak for themselves. We work tirelessly for Alaskans.

We aggressively and responsibly develop our resources because they were created to be used to better our world... to HELP people... and we protect the environment and Alaskans (the resource owners) foremost with our policies.

Here's some of the things we've done:

We created a petroleum integrity office to oversee safe development. We held the line FOR Alaskans on Point Thomson - and finally for the first time in decades - they're drilling for oil and gas.

We have AGIA, the gasline project - a massive bi-partisan victory (the vote was 58 to 1!) - also succeeding as intended - protecting Alaskans as our clean natural gas will flow to energize us, and America, through a competitive, pro-private sector project. This is the largest private sector energy project, ever. THIS is energy independence.

And ACES - another bipartisan effort - is working as intended and industry is publicly acknowledging its success. Our new oil and gas "clear and equitable formula" is so Alaskans will no longer be taken advantage of. ACES incentivizes NEW exploration and development and JOBS that were previously not going to happen with a monopolized North Slope oil basin.

We cleaned up previously accepted unethical actions; we ushered in bi-partisan Ethics Reform.

We also slowed the rate of government growth, we worked with the Legislature to save billions of dollars for the future, and I made no lobbyist friends with my hundreds of millions of dollars in budget vetoes... but living beyond our means today is irresponsible for tomorrow.

We took government out of the dairy business and put it back into private-sector hands - where it should be.

We provided unprecedented support for education initiatives, and with the right leadership, finally filled long-vacant public safety positions. We built a sub-Cabinet on Climate Change and took heat from Outside special interests for our biologically-sound wildlife management for abundance.

We broke ground on the new prison.

And we made common sense conservative choices to eliminate personal luxuries like the jet, the chef, the junkets... the entourage.

And the Lt. Governor and I said "no" to our pay raises. So much success in this first term - and with this success I am proud to take credit...

Now compare that with what Obama's done for the economy so far. Remember when they were ignoring Obama's inexperience, but pointing fingers at Sarah? "Oh my God. What if McCain should die, and Palin has to take over as president?" Well read the above. That's what they would have got. You can start kicking yourself in the ass now America.

Yeah, I can also see the nation-wide legalization of shooting wolves from helicopters being an attractive part of a winning federal elction platform.

Delivered without a teleprompter, I've heard.
Quite a novelty in Washington these days.

Oh, now you're pulling out that BS right-wing meme. I guess I shouldn't be surprised, you haven't had an thought that you came up with yourself in years. All you're capable of is regurgitating the same talking points over.

What? Just a little sensitive that the "great orator" can't talk without a teleprompter in front of him?

No, more that this is supposed to be some great criticism of Obama. It's as though the last few presidents never had access to this technology....Oh wait they did!

You might want to follow that up with some details because that makes no sense or relivance as it is.

Its not about access to technology but it is about access to the media, for without the media, there wouldn't have been a president Obama. It's also about image being bigger in politics than substance. The Dems have be pushing Obama as another Kennedy, but so far he's comming out to be the great actor instead.

Kennedy wouldn't have screwed that up. Reagan would have kicked that out of the park.

Quit being obtuse. Of course it's relevant. You're whining about Obama using a teleprompter. Bush was wired for the debate. Even you should be able to see the connection.

Yet you began today's round of hackery with a bitch about him using a teleprompter. Sounds like it is about technology.

You're making somne kind of profound final judgment of what he has accomplished as president from a six month period? Why have a four year term then?
I wonder how irate you were with democrates and liberals unloading their bile on Bush as a failed president over his ham fisted handling of the EP-3E Aries/F8 collision in China.

Kennedy wouldn't have screwed that up. Reagan would have kicked that out of the park.

Prove it. Right, you can't.

Give it a rest. I didn't know that was bush.
From the quality of the picture, I was guessing it was Walter Mondale or Nixon.

Actually, I started this off on page 1 with:

"She let the bastards win."

As the media made Obama, it also tore down Palin.
None of us voted for the media but they have far too much control over the fuzzy headed voters.

Fuzzy headed if they voted for Obama, and clear minded political intellectual if they did not. Riiiiiight.

Speaking of giving it a rest, the daily knee jerk the right wing bitch-o-ganda you unload could use one.

I know it hasn't occured to you, but there is every possibility that Palin failed because she was Palin.
