When they're peddling shit, it's likely to smell like diarrhea. Ask 'em how warranty and re-call service is handled when there's no longer such a thing as GM.
I'm not a guy who uses dealers for service, my experience is strictly sales based.
Mechanically speaking, my Ford's have been a nitemare. My 99 Mustang GT spun 3 bearings, which was good in a sense cause it allowed me to drop in a crate motor...and the 1993 F150 was an absolute crap can.
That said, their new stuff is miles ahead of their older stuff. Fit and finish is better, the whole package seems to be better these days. This didn't just start recently, but I'd say it started with the rebirth of the Mustang in 2005 and beyond.
