Sorry always seems to be the hardest word for politicians.

They either resist delivering an appropriate apology until their hard-nosed intransigence becomes a greater issue than the original mistake or they stage grandiose and invariably costly group grovels in a transparent bid to score political points. quote from the National Post.. about cancer directly or not.. her comments,private or not were inappropriate. she should have made a sincere apology the first day it was leaked and the fall out would have been short lived.
