I'm well aware thanks but my point is simply that we don't go waving them around in government on the streets that's why we have a lower rate of crime around them. they are for the most part locked up or kept under control thus the idea of "no guns". You never see them in the streets and you would certainly never hear of a "right to bear arms" in Canada.
I'm not sure what country you're from but to me "no guns" means a lack of guns. Not a lack of unlocked guns.

At what point have people lost all grip on reality? I think this story qualifies as a pretty good "tipping point."

I believe that in most states there are no restrictions on where you can carry. Arkansas appears to just catching up with the crowd.

You may be right... I would have thought, though that the smart thing to do would be to RESTRICT where you can carry them!!!
I saw an article in the NY Times where the sponsor of the bill said she introduced it due to a recent spat of Church shootings. So clearly the answer is... more guns in churches! MADNESS!!!

Moses replied...I had to to leave it on the mountain, all these eleven commandments written on stone were to heavy and I dropped the gun and the eleventh..
Heyzeus replied the Lord, the eleventh commandment contained the the instructions for your firearm, now the masses will be unable to use it. Go back and get your gun and the tablet for without them the unbelievers will use swords and knives for which you be defenseless. In the church of the Lord guns will be mandatory although not necessary. Entering church without the prescribed armaments will be deemed heresy.
Unfortunately Moses went to lunch and forgot the words of the Lord.
