Maybe you forgot we have something called freedom of speech. Personally I'm fan of the idea. They are not damaging the coins. The government has every right to ask them to stop but if they are not damaging the coins let them speak.

I stand by what I say. They are not damaging the coins in any permanent way so let them have their say. Doesn't mean I agree with them or that frankly anyone has to agree with them. I think it's been aptly said that what they are doing is very very stupid but they have every right to say it.

Now if the stickers were permanent then there should be action. Frankly I'm amazed the media is even giving this a lick of attention.

You are right there. They get lots of attention from idiots fuming about how they are breaking the law and using up precious oil resources. It appears to have worked. Meanwhile the general population, hearing the ruckus, take notice. Win win for the environmentalists. The PETA people know to do this better than anyone.
