Canadaka Canadaka:

If an election were held with a Liberal-NDP coalition, they wouldn't need the Bloc, they would easily beat the Conservatives. The Liberals loose many seats due to the vote split with the NDP and Greens.

that brings up another question..does an election make this coalition agreement void?

or do they all campaign as one party?

the agreement is 30 months between the Libs/NDP and 18 with the Bloc.

you cant add the numbers of the individual parties together and say that its more than the tories. the coalition is a new party forming, so then they need new voters. how many Liberal and NDP voters still want to vote for a party that involves the sepratists

Nonsense. You might ask how many Conservatives will continue to support the party after this fiasco. I certainly won't.

The longer this goes on, the worse Harper looks. He’s been phoning members of the opposition offering positions if they’ll cross the floor.

He’s throwing the word separatist around like it’s the devil’s spawn. The same spawn he slept with 14 times in the last session to support his own government on confidence votes.

This is not the same party I voted for. I doubt there is anything he could say to me now to get back my support.

whats the point of having an election, if the other parties are gonna cry and make a coalition against the party that most canadians voted for. this coalition kinda sounds like a form of genocide

I didn't realize 38% of the population was a majority...slightly less than the coalition government (Lib - 26% and NDP - 18%). I may not agree with it either, but the coalition does represent a million more voters than the current Conservative government does.

The coalition is an interim government. At the end of the time there will be an election and it will be every party for themselves. A coalition isnt a permanent government and its not a political party either. It is as you know made up of members of each of the opposition partys.

Coalition governments are perfectly legal.
Nice try though.

Attempting to overthrow the sitting government is textbook high treason.

Numbers just don't reflect that, nor did either party agree on anything in common. I'm still waiting for NDP-MP Dawn Black to get back to me on the Sedition Coalition's policy on Chretien's war in Afghanistan but maybe you can tell me instead?

If they want to run another election as a coalition, they are free to do so. Till then, it's the height of spin to try and tell us that 100-38 agree with you.

By the way.. that poll title is still wrong.
It should read the BLOC, NDP, Liberal coalition.

I doubt the proof would satisfy you, but it was on the CBC radio first thing this morning. The Liberal that came forward to the reporter claimed he was only one of a number approached and to his knowledge no one had accepted yet.

David Cadman must be turning in his grave. Again.

and how the hell does that answer my question.

what if there's an election in 3 monhts after the Bloc asks for a trillion dollars and only gets a half trillion ?

You might consider a little grade eight social studies. The only people crying treason are those that have no clue about how our parliament works. A little less time watching American TV might be in order.

Like it or not, what’s happening is not only legal, it’s happened before and our system of government is set up to allow it.

I seriously believe Harper will do or say anything to save himself now. None of it is very statesman like.

Sorry pal. Webster's dictionary definition of treason

$1:
the offense of attempting by overt acts to overthrow the government of the state to which the offender owes allegiance

It's treason. Glad to know that so many people are supporting this. I wonder if you would also support and armed revolt? I don't give a shit if fucking idiots have made it legal. It's treason.
