Harper's campaign motto should read - Trust me, I know what's good for you and I will implement it when you give me my majority, so shut your cakeholes.

It would be nice if Harper would tell us about his campaign platform, so far all we hear is what he won't do. Too bad he has all his mp's muzzled as well, maybe we could glean a bit of info from someone other than Sinclair Stevens.

No they won't. This is politics in the middle of two elections. It isn't taken seriously. Obama's camp would have been fools to believe that calling Canadians saying they were kidding about NAFTA wouldn't get out. And given the efficacy of the Obama camp, they aren't fools.

Foreign policy is driven by self-interest, not electoral tactics and ideology.

And harper shares people with the Republicans, Toro. They wanted to hurt Obama.

And interfering in another country's election is definitely considered off-limits.

I suspect that the Democrats will be very wary about sharing anything with the Harper camp that isn't already out in public.

It's not a secret, Toro. The Conservatives were quite proud when they brought in outside help from the Bush and Howard teams.

Yes, they're the branch plant subsidiary of the Republican Party. And even though the Obama administration will work with Republicans in Congress, they'll be suspicious and hostile to the Harper administration.

Last I checked, Moore wasn't elected to office, 2Cdo.

The Democrats are very suspicious when dealing with Republicans and vice versa, Toro. Harper is going to be dealing with the same kind of suspicion now.

all I see is lefty's fear mongering and screaming it will be the end of the world

Harper has learned about fear mongering from the best, George W. Bush.

- fear mongering on the economy.

- fear mongering on terrorism.

- fear mondering on enviorment.

Please! All we ever hear from you fucked-up lefties is how bad Harper is for Canada, and how he is good buddies with Bush. You fuckers are so fuckin retarded I cant even beleive your allowed to live some Days!!!! The only ones who create fear are those on the left only because they are power hunger and will stop at nothing to get what they want!!!!

Ok now that that is out of my system, we will never see another majority in this country because those on the right will never let those on the left to fuck-them over again, and those on the left are so polluted with 3 parties that the vote is no longer there for one party and are too blind to see how great this country will be with a little more Conservative views!!!

Attack me all you want, you will never ever change my opinions!!!

I think someone needs to give you some warnings about your language.. and by the way harper is dangerous and not good for the country.. can you imagine what it would be like if he had a brain?

According to the latest four-day rolling Canadian Press/Harris-Decima survey, about 32 per cent of participants said they would vote for the Conservatives, yet another drop in the party's steady decline of support since its height at the start of the five-week election campaign.

Libs 25
NDP 21
Green 12

I would love to see the NDP become the Official Opposition and form a coalition with the Liberals to take down Stephen Harper, so that Layton becomes Prime Minister. First NDP PM ever.

I think the Liberals would rather show up to Parliament in pink tutus than force another election in the next couple of years. They couldn't really afford this election. After this one they're going to have to choose another leader after Dion gets the boot, which means another leadership convention. Many of the leadership contenders from last time are still paying off their debts from then. So unless they're going to elect someone by acclamation...
