McCain proves he's a "maverick" by bowing to the far Right on VP choice
$1:
For weeks, advisers close to the campaign said, Mr. McCain had wanted to name as his running mate his good friend Senator Joseph I. Lieberman of Connecticut, the Democrat turned independent. But by the end of last weekend, the outrage from Christian conservatives over the possibility that Mr. McCain would fill out the Republican ticket with Mr. Lieberman, a supporter of abortion rights, had become too intense to be ignored.

Palin causes undecided voters to flock to Obama
$1:
among the critical undecideds, the Palin pick made only 6 percent more likely to vote for McCain; and it made 31 percent less likely to vote for him. 49 percent said it would have no impact, and 15 percent remained unsure. More to the point: among undecideds, 59 percent said Palin was unready to be president. Only 6 percent said she was. If the first criterion for any job is whether you're ready for it, this is a pretty major indictment of the first act of McCain's presidential leadership.

The National Post is such a Liberal trash column, easily compared the National Enquirer.

Palin is more qualified to be President than Obama.

$1:
He has chosen a small-town gal without credentials to be one heartbeat away from the U. S. presidency.

Pssst Diane, the big city black guy has less then the small town gal, and the black guy is running for the number one position.

We are ready went down this path, Canadian conservatism is left of center compared to U.S. conservatism.

The political spectrum differs vastly between Canada, The United States, the UK and Australia. I am not sure why you even this point.

I was totally backing this guy too, but to find out she had her own teenage daughter knocked up just to get the pregnant teen vote is disgusting.

That is great that the baby's father is doing the right thing.

Far to oftern in todays society, with todays attitude towards taking responsibility for one actions, it's nice to see a young man doing the right thing.

It might also be the right time to drag up, http://moses.creighton.edu/jrs/2005/2005-11.html#figures
article article:
Early adolescent pregnancy and birth have dropped in the developed democracies (Abma et al.; Singh and Darroch), but rates are two to dozens of times higher in the U.S. where the decline has been more modest. Broad correlations between decreasing theism and increasing pregnancy and birth are present, with Austria and especially Ireland being partial exceptions. Darroch et al. found that age of first intercourse, number of sexual partners and similar issues among teens do not exhibit wide disparity or a consistent pattern among the prosperous democracies they sampled, including the U.S. A detailed comparison of sexual practices in France and the U.S. observed little difference except that the French tend - contrary to common impression - to be somewhat more conservative (Gagnon et al.).

Bristol has the love and support of her parents and that says alot right their what type of parents she has.

I am sure her parents 'support' had nothing to do with the media watching them, and the majority of the country watching.

Shes sure lucky to have parents that would just say whatever, she can do whatever she wants and let her have her underage child instead of talking some sense into her.

I mean, 17 years old? You got any idea how a kid at that age would severly fuck up there lives? First of all, school? They obviously need school, does that mean one of them has to drop out and take care of the kid or will she just dump it on her 'good' parents and call it a day while she gets her life on track.

Jobs? Kids cost a hell of a lot of money, seeing how shes 17 and all I really doubt shes got a fortune saved so I really do hope her parents support her because there about to cancel there early retirement.
