CanAm1 CanAm1:
Many muslims lead a strict life of rules and regulations that they adhere to very seriously. They morally are good people. Why wouldn't he be a Muslim? He hates America, he won't say the pledge or place his hand on his heart while it's being said. He has yet to do that to this day even when he was sworn in to office on the last two occasions.
He was raised for many years by his dad who was a devout Muslim, the first 10 years of his life he was raised in a Muslim country, his middle name is Hussein, he was under the tutaledge of a boisterous America hater for almost 20 years but says he had never heard any of Jeremiah Wrights sermons that preached hatred of America.
Muslims while lying to each other is a mortal sin punishable by death and unforgivable by their God, yet their Koran states that it is perfectly fine to lie to an Infidel to further the cause of Islam. This type of lie is not punishable by Allah!
You are one hundred percent correct on many Christians being hippocrytes (sp?)
But I have fought and will be forever on gaurd against the Islamic objective of world domination and subjugation of the infidels.
And agreeing isn't the be all end all. We all have different opinions on here and express them. We all believe our opinions to be correct for the most part. Or at least cutting sometimes just to say we dislike what someone else just posted. I hope you enjoy Canada if you move there, I think I saw you post something to that regard.

Obama does not hate America. He doesn't put his hand over his heart when the National Anthem is played, I saw video footage, oh no! Seriously, I put my hands behind my back too. In fact, as a cheerleader (when I was 13) we would put our hands behind our back or at our heart. It is still a sign of respect. Obama is a good man. Heaven forbid he was raised by a Muslim, or has some culture to him instead of being 100% white Protestant Christian. And the claims that he is a communist/socialist are just as ridiculous. Come ON people, the Red Scare was over ages ago.

This nation has some sick prejudices.

I am sure about many Christians being hypocrites. Not saying all, just many. I did my duty as a Christian and served in the ranks of hate vs. love for many years. It's all skewed, todays versions of Christianity that is. I am just as guilty for the things I did and said when I attended church though.

Also, I am not all about agreeing. If everyone agreed on everything this world would be boring. I am all about not judging a person for their opinions. I do know that I could be wrong. Life is based on perception, if you ask me. I enjoy having a good debate/argument as long as there is no damage done.

And yes, I am hoping to move to Canada... thanks, I hope I will enjoy it too!

The drone of Liberal mantra...
"..something bad...in America...blame Bush !"
"..something bad....in Canada...blame Harper !"
Guess it beats having to actually think about topics.
A real time-saver.

CONservative lyric sheet? I guess it beats actually having to write a real criticism.
A real time-saver indeed!

Wait wait wait. So he is suing the military... after they provided him with a bodyguard protecting him. He is suing the military based on the actions of some of the soldiers, which they cannot control. Wow. Did everyone miss this part?

$1:
Hall said his life was threatened by other troops and the military assigned a full-time bodyguard to protect him out of fear for his safety.

How about he sues the people threatening him?

Why? He should watch his military career be destroyed because of the religious intolerance of others? Perhaps he tried to deal with it through all other channels?

Perhaps he feels that the only way that anything will get done is by bringing it out publically rather then letting the people responsible sweep it under the rug while they destroy his career.

In the Canadian Military, you can have NRA(No Religous Affiliation) put on your dog tags, you are also no longer required to remove head dress and pray during parades..and I have never heard of anyone being hassled because of it.

Political correctness run amok. While I agree with the NRA, Remove Headress is a parade order and should be treated as such and not as a religous command. If you don't want to pray then that's your option, but not removing headress on command is an insult to the Drill and Ceremonial history of the Canadian Military, not to mention someone elses religion.

Remembrance Day is a prime example of this. If you didn't remove your headress for prayers, I somehow think, it would look to the spectators rather like you were disrespecting the fallen, rather than "expressing your religous beliefs".

Now that you've brought this up, do people still have to remove headress for inspections and training, or can they claim it infringes on their religous beliefs and get special dispensation?

I have some problems with this part of your post. You ARE required to remove headress if it is ordered on parade, it is a lawful command. Praying though is strictly up to the individual.

This is based on the 27 years I have been in the Forces and the command Remove Headress has been there the entire time.

Also, I believe the correct designation is NRE, No Religion Expressed. At least it was when I first joined all those years ago.

Well I'm glad to see that things haven't changed all that much since I got out. I was wondering which rocket scientist decided that "remove headress" was a religous order, much like church parades?
