ridenrain ridenrain:
You can go blow that high horse you're trying to ride.
Come back and ask my opinion after one year of majority Conservative leadership.

So far we've seen 2 years of minority government under Harper and none of their scandals came close to the record crimes Chretien or Martin assaulted Canadian voters with. Go back and read that sad little list of fictional events you published and tell me how those are worst than stealing taxpayers money or using the RCMP to assault protesters.

"The power to govern with a majority should only be trusted to the party that has a savy grasp of both social issues and economics. Only the Liberals have shown that ability. "

We'll save that one for you're virtual headstone.

High horse? Speak for yourself. You are trying to act all righteous and pretend that your tories are all you pretend they are when facts show otherwise.

You ignored my statement again and thats all we need to convict you of ignorance.

As for your little crybaby response to the CPC scandal list. Right back at you. You guys used a BS list of scandals and we responded with a larger list per year then yours. Sorry that your party is more corrupt then the Liberals.

Thats your fault, not ours.

Stealing the tax payers money? Are you actually using that?

How? The IE fund which the CPC "robbed" to a greater extent?

Went to paying down the debt and lowering taxes. Thats good government.

Seems to me the only party robbing the voter is the CPC who is stealing from the EI despite howls of outrage to the contrary.

At least we were paying down the debt.

Sure, if you ignore the fact of them getting a massive Liberal surplus to work with and no hard choices to make and the fact that any decision they do make they blame on the Liberals.

Great government. All we need now is bush to lead the country.

oh gee 8O the surplus is all gone check your wallet.

http://www.albertalocalnews.com/reddeer ... rinks.html

Finance Minister Jim Flaherty said recently that rebates to Canadians filing income tax returns this year were up 14 per cent, largely as a result of the reduction in the lowest personal income tax rate to 14 per cent from 15.5 per cent and the increase in the basic personal amount to $9,600.

if that isn't the most pass the buck explination I have ever heard.

in 2.5 years the CPC has given MORE tax relief than the liberal over the past decade

no more hug a thug criminal laws

they could do MORE with a majority government but the liberals don't like accountable government, they don't like tough laws against repeat offenders.

they had decades to re-do the youth justice act which EVERY Canadian I have talked to wants changed

no they were more content on fucking over law abiding gun owners, and miss spending billions of our dollars and catering to Quebec and their appointed cronies

give it a rest.

The US system is quite different. Here, any of the Harper's more radical tendencies are tempered by his being in a minority government.

Blaming the Liberals is a dumb strtaegy. Every time you blame the Liberals you are tacitly conceding that tehya re the natural governing party. You are saying "See, the Liberals did it too." After a while people go," Well, you've been in charge for a couple of years now, maybe it's time you took some responsibility like a big boy."

There's no doubt to my mind that the Liberals had been ruined by the corrupting influence of assured power. They have to go stand in the corner for a while.

I suspect that the Conservatives will eventually run into trouble because of their pathological need to control the message.

uwish u had a clue.

Actually the Liberals brought the largest income tax cuts and the largest EI premium cuts.

The CPC actually raised income tax by 0.5% before lowering it again by 0.5%. They have EI cuts and a 2% GST cut to their credit but they are less then Liberal cuts.

You don't cut taxes when the economy's hot. You'll turn growth into a boom and get crazy inflation.
