Its all good, we can all sleep well at night, China signed Kyoto.

Your right of course, our worry is with the US who didn't. When The US takes as much interest in the enviroment things will really start to happen. In the meantime don't hold yer breath, eh.

And to give credit where it's due, even Mr. Bush is slowly coming around.

And tell me something was Canada able to hold up its end of the bargin after signing Kyoto.

Do you really enjoy having the wool pulled over your eyes?
or you beleive someone that tells you its raining, when they are peeing down your neck?

What? There's not enoyugh Kyoto threads here for you, so you have to turn this into another one? Stick to the topic, bozo.

Well, I guess it's too much to ask a neo-con to differentiate between CO2 induced global warming and particualate matter health concerns. That might be a bit advanced. We should try to stick to Leviticus.

No, you still don't get it. Again, I never said "it's all our fault." You should stop ascribing quotes to me that I've never made.

I just pointed out the connection, the fascinating dance of China and the US.

If only this pollution was a side-effect of an effort to improve the welfare of the 1.3 billion Chinese but it seems to be a side-effect of a military armament efforts of a communist state.

Indeed! The tin can tied to the PRC's tail is it's aging population which has no resorces for retirement. The PRC will have to adjust it's priorities because even such an authoritarian state (which can impose a 1 child policy) cannot ignore it's seniors living in abject poverty. An aging population which is impared by the ill effects of this Dickensonian society.....

It's perhaps worst than the Bourgeois society describes by Dickens in that we have with China a state apparatus that is taking control of the willingness of the population to self-sacrifice.
