Plus Lori Laughlin will need a place to work at once she's finished her five-year sentence for felony bribery. 8)

If that's the criteria, I wonder why they haven't given the rehabilitated Felicity Huffman a spot on their roster? Oh wait, William H. Macy and Shameless. ROTFL

5 adds were submitted for Hallmark's busy Christmas season. One had the lesbian kiss scene. Hallmark's traditionalist audience complained. The add was stricken from the 5.

4 ads from the marriage company remained for Hallmark's Christmas season.

Then the for-real cancel culturist horde appeared almost like it was a plan and joined the SJW onslaught Hallmark has been dealing with this Christmas.

For-real cancel culturist horde  as opposed to real cancel culturist ROTFL

Pull my finger PP.

The jab was at Beave but thanks for joining in.

Beave has been desperate lately to hijack the burn that generally goes right to left against cancel culture. Problem is it doesn't work left to right. Any group, right or left will sporadically join to complain about something and hope for a cancellation of whatever they're protesting but as an activist phenomena the left pretty much owns cancel culture.

So Beave tries to hijack the "term" because saying "cancel culture" gets at him for some reason. It makes him frantic. I see that and have to poke the bee hive by showing who the "for-real" cancel culturists are.

For some reason this seems to bother you too. You're not going to go all Beaver-Fevered frantic on us though, are you?

GOOD GRIEF, what a boring post you commissioned there PP. But thanks for the heads up on the 'both sides now' of cancel culture, I'm sure that NOBODY out there had a clue until you spoke up. Judy Collins would be proud. And thanks for the brevity, you are improving... keep up the good work laddie.

We understood what Fiddy said and we also appreciate that he doesn't let Beaver get away with hijacking reality. See the reality is that Hallmark Channel's core audience is Christian conservative women and the left fucking HATES anything that dissents from their sick and degenerate world view.

Therefore they hate Hallmark Channel and they've set out to destroy it or compromise it because they must CANCEL any aspect of CULTURE that doesn't promulgate soul-destroying filth.

Good job, Fiddy. [B-o]

Yes the left likes to talk about dissent when they agree with them, but any difference and they adopt the attitude of Lavrenty Beria and tolerate it every bit as much as he did.

How is that not cancel culture??
Is this mire if your “it’s never wrong when our side does it” hypocrisy that the Right is so famous for?

Explain to me exactly how Hallmark was forced to air this add in the first place and why then flip floped, then flip flopped again

Hallmark doesn't actually decide what specific ad is aired on their channel. They sell the time to an ad broker and the ad broker decided to slip this in despite an agreement not to place ads on the channel contrary to the company image.

Proof?

What did they show that was soul destroying filth?

You made me look. [B-o]

Noble People is Hallmark's key advertising broker who handled this particular ad.

https://noblepeople.co/

Hallmark still manages advertising on its own but they sell blocks of advertising to advertising brokers just like any media outlet does and the advertising broker places ads as they see fit.

It's no different than cruise lines selling blocks of cabins to travel agencies who then sell the space to clients.

WE? My wife watches this channel on occasion and believe me, although she is Christian, she definitely is not conservative. She saw the add (on the news) and didn't even comment. Piddle Puppy hates it when someone who does not agree with him practices 'cancel culture' but calls it a triumph when someone he does agree with does the same.

Left wing cancel culture is more vicious because it tends to go after an individual for saying the supposed "wrong" thing, with the express purpose being to damage that person as much as possible (like getting them fired) via a mob attack on Twitter. Examples would be Don Cherry, Jordan Peterson, Sam Harris, Bill Maher, or porn-star August Ames who basically got bullied to death by "Woke" Twitter for saying she didn't want to perform with bisexual men due to the increased danger of getting infected with HIV/AIDS.

Right wing cancel culture is just plain goofy. And usually completely bogus too because their "widespread" support typically amounts to no more than a few hundred bible-thumping cranks in organizations led by creepy little bastards like Brent Bozell. And their ranting usually fails anyway because they get upset about something so dumb that it gets no mass support except among the ranks of the already-converted. Being attacked by the right usually turns out to be extremely profitable. Examples would be Nike stock going up as a direct result of social conservative attacks on their deal with Colin Kaepernick. Or record sales increasing for a musician when they attack rappers or guys like Marilyn Manson.

It's all pretty fucking stupid IMO. Don't like it? Don't watch it or don't buy it. Sure as hell don't have to try to annihilate someone altogether just because you don't like them.

Who still watches TV? More so, who would watch the hallmark channel?
Pull the plug people and read! I highly recommend history, although the
odd good piece of fiction can be a rewarding diversion from time to time.

<< Listen up, gang! I have a great idea to get people to buy more of our crap. We will put out an ad with lesbians doing the nasty --- everybody loves lesbians, right?? Then, we will pay poor people on the other side of the world to work their online keyboard magic pretending that they are outraged. After that, we will pull the ad. Then, the pre-tarded will think something is happening and VOILA!!!! More idiots will watch our television shows and buy our greeting cards! >>
