When the data doesn't support the bullshit global warming agenda then you just delete the data.

This has been discussed, you must have missed it.

Anyone can say anything they want, with or without credentials. Doesn't make them right or that their opinion has to be listened to.

Suzuki is a geneticist.

Which overlaps with climate studies where exactly?

Nothing to do with Climate. That is my point. Suzuki is a Geneticist, and a climate activist. Take his rantings in context.

Data doesn't have an opinion. Data is data. Conclusions drawn from data are also not opinion. If you have the credentials to interpret that data, then what you say does have weight and should be listened to, if warnings come with those observations.

And how is the slope of the trend line a curve? Someone wasn't doing the calculation, but drawing on the graph with a sharpie!

I don't do that much, preferring to let better informed people than myself take care of changing the puppy piddle pads.

That's what's giving the denier-side so much energy. The real scientists say one thing that isn't flashy enough for the lazy pop-media we have, who then go to an activist or celebrity preaching doomsday in order to get the attention. It certainly doesn't do the believer side much credit, to constantly be in bed with what are effectively cam-whores making their case to the public for them. Cunning, maybe, as too many people are now so genuinely stupid that they automatically do what a celebrity tells them to. Being a star-fucker though causes nothing but damage to credibility when they turn out to be wrong and the celebrity spokespeople refuse to retract or revise their catastrophe-preaching.

It was more a reference to the denier side. Credentials are good but finding out (for example) that someone with credentials is also connected to Don Blankenship's coal company or to the Trump Org kind of erases the value of those certificates altogether.

N_Fiddledog N_Fiddledog:
As to Thunberg, who's this handler of Greta's - Luisa-Marie Neubauer? See, because conspiracy guys are telling us she's connected to something called The "One" foundation which which we're told, "has several well-known wealthy financiers, including Bono as well as Bill and Melissa Gates. An even more striking name is that of the multi-billionaire oligarch George Soros,

notorious for his currency speculation and maybe even more prominent as the father of the global, radical, and left-liberal lobby and activist network “Open Society”, supporting thousands of NGOs."

You have heard of Greta's handler right? The woman who jumps between the kid and journalists who try to ask a question.

Try a Wiki search on Luisa, they won't give you everything but you'll get a general idea.

What I find curious is how the climate alarmists believe they can impose simplistic solutions such as carbon taxes and "green" energy on a complex system such as Earth's climate. Hell, most of them still want a standard of living that fossil fuel affords (because aircraft and cargo vessels cannot run on solar or wind) without the trade off of carbon emissions. Note that Greta herself sailed to North America on a millionaire's yacht, which makes me want to ask: do alarmists want us to return to the 18th century in terns of trans-oceanic transportation? If the alarmists were serious about technological advancement, they would take another look at nuclear energy. If not fission, then bring more attention to ITER and push to advance nuclear fusion as a possible power source in the future while we advance batteries and other forms of technology.

Unfortunately, climate alarmists are more interested in playing politics (when they are not psychologically abusing younger generations) and instant gratification than finding actual solutions.

The majority of the "solutions" being offered by the activists are utter bunk.
