Seems to me the Mexican Army should go in and slaughter the invaders.
Or at least the Mexican Army can stand aside while the Federales do it.

Might as well. It's really just a small irrelevant step from imprisoning women & kids to gunning down women & kids. Shouldn't bother anyone too much at all judging by what's already been normalized in the last two years.

Me thinks there is a cartel element to this. 7-10,000 drug mules. Brilliant. The Mexican Army and the Federales will not risk angering the cartel

BartSimpson BartSimpson: llama66 llama66: BartSimpson BartSimpson: Now let's see if President Trump makes good on his promise to militarize and close the US-Mexico border.
If he does then the GOP will sweep the November elections. Doesn't Posse Comitatus prevent the US military from operating domestically? Is there a way to force activate all the National Guard without state level approval? One of the idiot laws passed after 9/11 essentially paved the way for martial law 100 miles from any US border. Consequently we have unConstitutional Border Patrol checkpoints located in the affected areas where the Border Patrol stops people, questions them in violation of their Fifth Amendment rights and searches them and their vehicles without warrants. Having the military act in these areas would follow under the law since these areas are Constitution-free zones as it is. He's not even kidding. $1: On June 7, Tiana Smalls, whose Facebook profile describes her as owner of Fire Flower Beauty Company, was riding a Greyhound bus from Bakersfield, California to Las Vegas, Nevada. As the bus approached an agricultural checkpoint at the Nevada state line, Ms. Smalls said the driver made an unusual announcement: “We are being boarded by Border Patrol. Please be prepared to show your documentation upon request.” One Woman Who Knew Her Rights Forced Border Patrol Off a Greyhound Bus

Just got the FBI Flash message that President Trump has notified the Border Patrol and the Pentagon that he's formally declaring a National Emergency in order to legally enable military and quasi-military action on the US border.
This will mean stepped up border enforcement even on the US-Canada border...probably effective by the end of the day.

Immigrant Caravan Organizer Held After Trump Threatens Honduras$1: WASHINGTON / ESQUIPULAS, GUATEMALA — The organizer of a migrant caravan from Honduras was detained Tuesday in Guatemala after U.S. President Donald Trump threatened to withdraw funding and aid from Honduras if the flow of migrants north to the United States was not stopped.
Guatemalan police detained Bartolo Fuentes, a former member of the Honduran Congress, from the middle of a large crowd he and three other organizers had led from San Pedro Sula, Honduras, since Saturday, bound for Mexico.
The Honduran security ministry said Fuentes was detained because he "did not comply with Guatemalan immigration rules" and would be deported back to Honduras in the coming hours.
Up to 3,000 migrants, according to organizers' estimates, crossed from Honduras into Guatemala on Monday on a trek northward, after a standoff with Guatemalan police in riot gear and warnings from Washington that migrants should not try to enter the United States illegally. https://www.voanews.com/a/immigrant-car ... 16337.html

Thanos Thanos: Tricks Tricks: Thanos Thanos: The US military can't be used as a domestic police force under the Posse Comitatus Act Insurrection act and/or coast/national guard would like a word with you. It applies only to the regular armed forces, not the reserves or the Coast Guard: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Posse_Comitatus_Act$1: The Posse Comitatus Act is a United States federal law (18 U.S.C. § 1385, original at 20 Stat. 152) signed on June 18, 1878 by President Rutherford B. Hayes. The purpose of the act – in concert with the Insurrection Act of 1807 – is to limit the powers of the federal government in using federal military personnel to enforce domestic policies within the United States. It was passed as an amendment to an army appropriation bill following the end of Reconstruction and was subsequently updated in 1956 and 1981.
The act only specifically applies to the United States Army and, as amended in 1956, the United States Air Force. While the act does not explicitly mention the United States Navy and the United States Marine Corps, the Department of the Navy has prescribed regulations that are generally construed to give the act force with respect to those services as well. The act does not apply to the Army National Guard or the Air National Guard under state authority from acting in a law enforcement capacity within its home state or in an adjacent state if invited by that state's governor. The United States Coast Guard, which operates under the Department of Homeland Security, is not covered by the Posse Comitatus Act either, primarily because although the Coast Guard is an armed service, it also has both a maritime law enforcement mission and a federal regulatory agency mission.
The title of the act comes from the legal concept of posse comitatus, the authority under which a county sheriff, or other law officer, conscripts any able-bodied man to assist him or her in keeping the peace. In these days of dying wisdom though expect anything to happen, including the abolition of the Posse Comitatus Act in order to give Dear Leader even more tools to use at his whim. Give them enough time to generate even more hysteria and within our lifetime we'll probably see the Marines being sent in to burn out medical marijuana dispensaries. I know, that's why I said the national and coast guard. They are also armed forces.
