Yep, when I woke up this morning, the sky was crazy looking, so I took a photo on my phone and it just doesn't do it justice.

I wish this crap would clear up, as my throat feels like I smoked four packs of cigarettes and drank a bottle of cheap whiskey!

Everyone in the office is coughing and/or sneezing. And this is an air conditioned building! I'd cough more, but my diaphragm is still sore from this weekends' food poisoning.

Pretty sure some people will die over this too.

Even if I squint, I'm not seeing it. I suppose the center of the image is more red than the rest. Not convinced there is a sun today.

I'm told the ancients used to call it the "Sun". Legend says that this "Sun" powered some of their tech. How it worked has been lost to time, and to the great smoke cloud.

What a terrible situation for so many people being affected.

The pictures here and other footage I've seen is unreal.

Briefly this afternoon it was almost sunny, though the sunlight had a weird tint to it. I am definitely feeling the affects of the smoke and can't imagine how much worse it is for those in the midst of it.
