I think the handling and coverage of this event has been horrible. They searched the fucking mall for hours and never set up a geographical perimeter so the guy is long gone. Witnesses saw him headed to interstate 5. It's been a day, they haven't released the name of any of the victims or even the calibre of the weapon. The town only has 8,000 so it's likely someone knows this guy and it is possible he had a connection to one of the victims. What is with the secrecy? And how is the media not all over the manhunt. Do they even know there is a mass murderer on the loose? Makes me mad.

They should just say he yelled "Allahu Ackbar". It would be 24 hour around the clock coverage.

Around 7 p.m. September 23, a gunman opened fire inside a Macy’s store at the Cascade Mall in Burlington, Washington. Police describe the shooter as “darker complected” with his age estimated in the “late teens or early 20s.” The shooter fled the scene before police arrived and remains at large amid a massive manhunt. The fatal victims have been described as four females — ranking in age from a teenager to a “senior” — and one male. Their exact ages have not been released.

He's Turkish. Not sure if Muslim, his name isn't Muslim but their demographics make it a strong possibility, although I don't suspect that is his motivation in this case.

Island County Sheriff's Lt. Mike Hawley told reporters that he spotted Cetin near the suspect's home in Oak Harbor, around 30 miles due west of the mall. Hawley said he immediately recognized Cetin as the suspect, turned his patrol car around and arrested Cetin without incident.

"He said nothing," said Hawley, who added that Cetin was unarmed when he was apprehended. "He was kind of zombie-like."

He entered the mall, left, and came back 10 min later with the gun. Presumably even in the states you can't buy a gun that quickly, so he probably had it in his car

His name is definitely not Muslim and if he somehow happens to be, it is probably not his motivation.

Reports are his girlfriend works at macy's, i.e I was right all along . His facebook looks like he was a pretty normal kid, he worked on a naval base, had lots of friends, many were female and did regular kid stuff.

He probably met his girlfriend at Whidey Island commissary where they both worked. Still not sure what her involvement is.

Well, that fixes it, we can go ahead with the pogrom, but the wall will have to be dismantled.
