IMO what it comes down to is who was there first. The houses or people using that beach area as a nudist hang out.

If this has been an area for decades that nudist go to and then some developer bought built the houses and or apartments then tough the nudist were there and you should have researched better before buying the house.

If it turns out the nudist only started going there after the area was being built up then the owners have a right to complain.

Probably.
I grew up on a nude beach, basically. We walked from where we vacationed. Lots of kids and families. They are usually more remote, but I am pretty sure that has changed.

Those beaches are not private land, they did not buy the beach with their property.

Then I am sure you don't and wont find it offensive for naked people to walk down the street in front of you houses. You didn't buy the road that is in front of your house.

About a decade ago Austin had a similar issue come up. In an area along the river a spot known as Hippie Hallow was well known for nudity sense the 60's. In the late 80's to early 90's the land value around this stretch of the river went way up. Ppl started building houses along the river area with boat ramps ect...

When they complained and went to court the ruling came back that do to the long standing tradition of Hippie Hallow the home owners were SOL. Yet the courts did put a limit onto the area that nudist could be. Sense then it's dramatically change and few if any nudist go there any more.
