Tricks Tricks: DrCaleb DrCaleb: Ever hear of someone in treatment because they ate too much salad? Yes. If they don't eat something coming from an animal, b12 infused food, or take b12 supplements, they will get brain damage. B12 only exists in man made format, or animal products. I had a friend that ended up with a serious B12 deficiency. It really messed up her central nervous system.

fifeboy fifeboy: I thought this thread was supposed to be about them evil mooslems? Halal abattoirs are evil, but not significantly more than regular ones. Not much of a story. Nothing to see here, move along, move along.

fifeboy fifeboy: I thought this thread was supposed to be about them evil mooslems? How much can you say about evil mooslims that hasn't already been said? Once the "bomb them back to the stone age" frenzy has come and gone people are feeling spent and need to recharge.

The carbs come from the vegetables(legumes, roots and such) and fruit I have for dessert. The rest is poultry, fish or pork with the occasional serving of beef and or venison.

Same with me, but I tended to have a little rice or pasta, and some lean meat like you. Smoked chicken, steamed fish . . . But I'm going to transition my proteins toward more plant based, less animal based. And more raw foods, fewer cooked. I found some organic white grapefruit, and . . . Damn! Are they ever good! I really like white grapefruit, but they are so hard to find!

Are you still eating eggs and cheese.....I love weekends and the chance to make monster omelettes. Lots of veggies(onions, peppers, tomatoes) and meat with cheese smothered in salsa. I'll have a couple slices of home made whole wheat or multi grain bread, but that is only two carb servings. Fruit tends to be my weakness and downfall, as I usually have an orange and a banana for a chaser.

I once walked through the Great Lever area of Bolton - an area with a large Muzzie population - near Bishop Bridgeman Church of England Primary School (a "Church of England" school which has built a whole new upper floor to accommodate all the prayer rooms for the school's majority Muslim pupils) at night and the night air was filled with (and I'm not joking) the unmistakable sound of goats neighing in the back gardens of the Muslim-occupied terraced houses.
I suppose it's one of the things that happens when the Muslims take over the area.

Were they HSL students? Wonder if the horses were learning to bleat?

Saw a disturbing video, don't really see the need for them versus the cost of producing them. I do love my Sunday breakfast, big omlette, bacon rashers, sausage, beans . . . but I'll make do. Mushroom crepes perhaps . . . we'll see. I might keep cheese around, but it might not be made with cow milk. Again, another disturbing video has me re-evaluating things.

B12 comes from bacteria, and there are many vegan supplements for it such as fortified yeasts. But, that's still not from eating too much salad, that's from not eating the right kinds of salad. It can also be obtained over the counter from a pharmacist, for injection - if people are that militant about it. I agree, but that tends to run contrary to their "all natural" rhetoric when it needs to be grown or manipulated in a lab. I personally don't have an issue with it.

I had a friend that ended up with a serious B12 deficiency. It really messed up her central nervous system. It's nasty shit, and something vegans don't talk about. Vegetarians that eat eggs are ok, but vegans need to eat b12 fortified foods or take supplements (or shots like the good Dr said). I had a friend who was asking people for advice about going vegan, and I was the first one to mention this out of all her moronic vegan friends. She had no clue that if she didn't seek that out she could do serious permanent damage to herself. I'm not the type to cry everything needs to be natural, but if you can't live off a diet without part of what your eating being manipulated by man, we were never meant to eat that diet. Pretty simple.
