Honestly, I think just about every community should recycle wastewater into tap water. As long as the process is handled properly, there really is little-to-no risk

Yeah. No thanks. We have all the fresh, clean water we can use. Clearbrook has been deemed to have the best tap water in the world. No need to turn our water into Regina water.

Yes it's nice of the ecosystem can clean your water for free But that said, I imagine wastewater-to-water will be become more common. You just have to watch those self-amplifying feedback loops in a recirculated system though. That and good quality control.

No reason for it on the coast. Just build higher dams. You want to use recycled water for uses other than tap water, that's great - industrial uses.

Down in Corpus no shortage or rationing going on. All lakes at capacity too.

Which makes no sense at all why ration if the lakes are at normal levels. Thus my contention that the LCRA is playing games with the water.

Maybe the water can't flow uphill? Are the LCRA reservoirs higher than the ones around Corpus Christie?

We take our water from Lake Superior. Use it, treat it and put it back........about 1/4 mile from the intake. [huh]

I'm not positive but I would say no. Going off my memory of the road trips I've taken over the years Dallas all the way to Corpus there are no major hills let alone mountains. Now west of Austin is what's called the hill country but they are not that big to pose any serious issues IMO.
