It doesn't surprise me, as the Chinese have been begging to buy Backfirss from the Russians since the late 90s. It would make no strategic sense for the Russians to sell long-range nuclear-capable bombers to one of their biggest rivals.

And with all the tech stolen from the US they can reconfigure that puppy so it will be fast and hard to track.
