They seem to have worked for the BC Liberals, while the NDP taking the high road cost them the election. I don't watch much TV, so i didn't see the ads. There's a difference between ads that go after a policy of the opposition but in a factual way, and those over the top, out of context fear mongering ads. Or ones that have no substance, like the Trudeau shirt off one - I mean come on.
Dix launched his own negative campaign on himself when he announced an increase of spending on programs, planned deficits, and no long term vision in the greyest, beigest way possible.
Negative attack ads only confirmed what Dix was announcing in his bland droning voice.
