It's not outrage or hatred. It's more like head-shaking bafflement that such a creature got so popular. Shit, I remember the late 1970's and early '80's fairly well. I can recall the girls going crazy over such luminaries like Shaun Cassidy, Rex Smith, Andy Gibb, and then onto ones like Duran Duran. I might have been go along in calling them fags and such but, compared to what's come along from the New Kids On The Block era through to Bieber, those other guys were almost like goddamn fucking Mozart when held up against the new ilk of popster.

Seriously, this is the only way I want to think of Bieber.

It's not just the love child of Vanilla Culkin who come across as talentless....most of today's pop stars come across the same way, from Beyonce to Nicki Minag to Rihanna.

Even an old perv like Michael Jackson had massive credibility as a singer, musician, and songwriter. And most of the other popsters from previous days at least had the benefit of working with terrific songwriters like Barry Manilow and Quincy Jones to at least ensure some minimum level in quality . The ones nowadays don't even have that, and all they do is hide behind a bunch of queerbot dancers on stage and get nonsensical computerized autotune sounds to mask the weakness of their voices.
