Well, Brenda and BF's solution would certainly have avoided the whole Kadhr mess. Or were his parents citizens when he was born? Actually I think they were.

Whether it's a Chinese woman trying to circumvent the one child policy or someone from any other country, whose sole intent for coming here is to give birth in Canada to gain citizenship for her offspring, I would say deny them admission and send them back from whence they came, ASAP. Even if it is legal, it's just another case of those who have the money taking advantage of the current slack Canadian immigration laws, which are now under discussion.

So you would deny entry to women who are what 24 weeks pregnant or more? Better and easier to deny citizenship to the baby, IMO.
