Not that I'd expect it to ever happen, as the ultra-wealthy essentially own all our governments and are existentially exempt from any obligations of any sort altogether, but a mass confiscation of all these hidden funds would solve the world economic conundrum overnight. With a suspected hidden $32 trillion we could stabilize all the developed economies to prevent any further collapse, Even in the US almost half the debt could be paid out and the worst of the stress on the middle class would disappear. Even with a much smaller portion we could probably wipe out the entire third-world debt in a heartbeat and finally let those states emerge from the dungeon of debt-seriving that practially all of them are trapped in.
It's just a fantasy but it would be nice if it happened. For one moment anyway we could pretend that we are all equal instead of being the serfs of an untouchable elitist feudal overlordship that's just as real today as it was a thousand years ago.
The sad thing about this statement is our grandparent's generation would have FORCED this to happen. They had nuts. We've been neutered.
I wish it weren't true, but you are sooo right. Back then people would stand up for what they believed in, now we just accept whatever were told and take it up the woo hoo. How the fvck is the whole world financially falling apart but there's enough wealth out there to fix it all, all in the hands of 0.001 percent of the population. That's one person for every 100,00 people and we do nothing about it, sheep says bahhhh.
