But of the past 4 Toronto mayors Miller is both the smartest and the most effective leader.

I wouldn't call anyone a great leader when they fail on their primary responsibility; looking out for the best interests of the entire community you represent.

Secondly, on top of not representing all the people of Toronto besides his NDP special-interest groups/people, he ran the City into the ground financially while adding additional taxes.

He gets the job done? I'd say he's pretty ineffective. He has polarised council and he can't help doing stuff that shows himself in a bad light. He could (sometimes) get away with his base behaviour as a councillor, but as the mayor of Canada's biggest city, he can't.

Council was polarized under Miller yet they had no results with the exception of overspending.

Ford has providedresults, things other mayors couldn't or didn't have the stones to do so.

It doesn't take a partisan to notice and acknowledge that things have actually been done. TTC essential service, balanced the budget, removed car tax, slashed office budgets and privatized garbage collection (West of Yonge).

I think he's done a great job getting the City back on track based purely on the results.
