In 2006 he was railing that the "Crowns, judges, and police" weren't doing their job and 5 years later we're close to a police state?

Freakinoldman: I said this in an earlier post:

The end to pardons is not wholly true. I do feel, however, that it is a stepping stone to a much harsher reality.

Now get some Viagra, go outside for fresh air, come home and get laid! Release the tension!

Peace y'all!

My how patronizing you are.

Why don't you turn on your computer, type Pardons Canada, read the information they supply and then, make an informed statement about the system. Release the intelligence!

See how easy it is to make assumptions and generalizations about someone without knowing them.

Thanos Thanos:
More liberal use of pepper spray and water cannons would seem to be warranted as a minimum. Techological applications too, ranging from beanbag guns to stun grenades to sticky foam to soundwave attacks should also be greatly increased in number. Criminal charges for rioting too that can't be stricken off the record with a pardon application, including hard prison time for the leaders and repeat offenders, and no more pussying out with limp wristed fines.

Bring the hammer down first, and hard too. Then worry about all the media/opposition party whining later. This is war between order and chaos. Treat it as such.

Sorry Thanos, we need a middle of the road approach - perhaps hardline for the Black Bloc and something more moderate for everyone else.

Everyone has the right to protest - they only lose that right when they become violent. I wholeheartedly agree that the 'professional' protesters who employ violence need to really be punished with time behind bars and a criminal record.

I don't have a problem with cops using force when people are pelting them with rocks, bottles or using violence or any sort. But when you're sweeping up crowds of peaceful protesters and using the same tactics you would on Black Bloc jerks, then something is wrong.

GRUMPY1 GRUMPY1:
In the eyes of many people,Seeing authority figures getting away With misconduct and criminal activities Without being severely punished.

Is a trigger To disobey authority.

The protests And the riots Should be judged separately.

Because Even though they happened together each happened for separate reasons...

Riiiiiight. It has absolutely nothing to do with the Black Bloc being a bunch of fucktards that turn peaceful protests and demonstrations into an excuse to burn, loot and smash public and private property, while bleeding heart shit-pumps excuse their actions saying they have the right to protest.
What the police need is to be allowed to crack right down on ANYONE covering their face at a protest/demonstration. If that means smacking their little pin-head skulls in to remove them, oh well.

Well, now that I'm dealing with a reasonable and normal person such as yourself, and not Andy, I'll clarify. I meant that I'd apply this to the anarchists and quasi-terrorists of the black bloc. Anyone who is involved in street violence deserves the hammer to come down on them without mercy. The others can do what they want as long as they remain peaceful, but "peaceful" had certainly better include not attacking schools and disrupting those classes for other students who want to get the education that they paid for. I'll try to be more careful in my words from now on in so as to not give others a shit-fit or encourage them to give my statements a literal rectal Fisking.

I'd also encourage universities and colleges in the ROC to allow these Quebec students who aren't acting like twits in the streets to transfer without any extra cost to schools in other provinces. That way these people can get their schooling done away from all that hardcore leftist political/cultural nonsense that permeates every aspect of Quebec society. It'd help the real students, it'd be the fair thing to do, and it'd give these people an opportunity to get away from that sickening entitlement culture in Quebec where the other type of "students", their propagandistic instructors that live in a left-wing fantasy land, the Quebec media, and scum like the Parti Quebecois and the public sector unions are able to too easily jeopardize these kids future for the sake of their ridiculous group-think.

Ad now some sob sister like Andy can come in and say that the rights of the real students mean nothing when it comes to advancing "The Cause". Yay to the revolutionaries who are saving us and sticking it to The Man (aka, Stephen Harper-Hitler) with every garbage can they energetically toss through the window of a Starbucks! Yay for the youth movement!

GRUMPY1 GRUMPY1:
Of course There is people who incite riots.

But in your eyes anyone who protests is a nut pinhead numbskull
So now you presume to know that I think? Tell me Kreskin, what am I thinking now?

GRUMPY1 GRUMPY1:
And you'll swear up and down and deny the fact that police have been caught inciting riots.
Right, cause the police are so bored they got nothing better to do than incite a riot, then sit back and watch the fun. I heard that the next time there's a riot in Toronto, EB is supposed to bring the popcorn.

GRUMPY1 GRUMPY1:
I've been following these forums for years Even though I don't post very much

And understand the right wing nut job goon squad mentality that many people Have.

And judging by the massive amount of posts many of you people have many must be confined to wheelchairs or bedridden and this is the only way they can feel they have some sort of authoritative contact With the real world

Holy shit, dude. Are you a member of the Black Bloc or something? I disagree with your point of view and put the blame squarely where it belongs and you go right into insult attack mode.
I resent your implications involving the differently abled. I've known people in wheelchairs that led far more active lives than many that can walk.
But hey, thanks for showing yourself to be bigoted towards the differently abled.
At least now we know to take anything you say with a grain of salt.

GRUMPY1 GRUMPY1:
Many people believe that anyone who is protesting Is automatically inciting a riot....Simply because they are Disagreeing With the political policies And the authorities.

It has been proven that police forces Have put instigators into protests In order to incite riots.

Perhaps so they can get their jollies busting heads.

Prove it. Show me the proof that the biggest public-order incident in the past 10 years (the G20) put instigators in there to incite riots.

It is quite comical how defensive And how ready you are to stab people in the back and Call them liars ....LOL

Even though I've only been a member for a year I have followed the antics of many Of the bullies on this forum For about five or six years.

I realize mentality of many . At how simple it is To make them into flaming trolls.... When politics and law enforcement is involved

That didn't sound like it offered much proof for your theory, and as far the observation about posters becoming trolls when the topic if law enforcement is raised......physician heal thyself.

You're right, I'd Gitmo every single one of those anarchist fucks. I'd Supermax those fuckers in Chicago who were going to attack the cops and the President for the rest of their worthless lives. And for the bratty scum Quebec students who triggered this shit in the first place I'd kick every single one of them out of the schools they're in and then disqualify them from receiving any sort of public assistance, starting with access to student loans, for the rest of their useless lives too.

Care to see how much farther I'd be willing to go after that? The only time Pierre Trudeau was right about anything is when he stomped down hard on the exact same type of terrorist/anarchist assholes during the FLQ crisis. That's how you deal with criminals. That's how you deal with anarchists. And that's how you deal with terrorists.

No mercy for these scum. Ever. And too fucking bad for clowns like you if you don't like it.
