So its a workplace safety issue?

I would say so.

Ah, but are the "actors" employees or self-employed contractors?

Does that matter?
Is the hard hat on a construction site mandatory for an employee, but not for a self-employed contractor?

Depends on the jurisdiction I guess. I used to deliver materials to construction sites and not once was I required to don a hard hat.

I doubt it would be mandatory for the camera man to wear a condom...

I was booted off a house build for not having a hard hat..........and that was in the late 70's.

At this point in time in Alberta, anyone on a commercial or industrial site for any reason has to have a hard hat and safety boots. At a minimum. Most site require more. Residential is a lot more slack, but it's getting there as well.

I'd argue they are sex-trade workers.

They get paid for having sex and put their video's online for all to enjoy. That makes them sluts, right? That makes them prostitutes...
Which means, that according to Rush, they would get their contraceptives, and, according to Bart, their condoms, covered

This is one industry I wouldn't mind getting outsourced to another country. It would solve a lot of problems.

Please ... We'll take the billions.

You wouldn't mind Vancouver being the porn movie capital of the world? I don't think the porn movie industry runs into the billions.

$1:
The total market value of pornography in the U.S. is estimated between $2-$13 billion per year

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pornography_in_the_United_States

$1:
It is estimated that Americans now spend somewhere around $10 billion a year on adult entertainment

http://www.cbsnews.com/2100-18560_162-585049.html

It'll go well with our pot industry.

Then again, maybe you should send it to Afghanistan and North Korea.

And if you make it mandatory for the sex trade to use condoms...

Ya well, theres always some risk in film stunts. And the appeal of porn is precisely BECAUSE its not a loving monogamous relationship. It does ruin the production value, IMO. And theyre consenting adults, let them take the risks. It's not against the law for anyone else to sleep around unprotected. What difference does putting a camera in the room make?

I think the real intent is the same as when they tried to ban smoking in movies. They're woried that its glamorizing unprotected sex and affecting impressionable young minds.

You're right about it being a risk, although I didn't say they couldn't do what they wanted.

I said anyone who was in that line of work and didn't use a condom is a fucking idiot and since you can't legislate stupidity it's quite likely you'll continue to see these twits going bareback.

But here's a question. If you're so concerned about it ruining production value, what does pulling out just before ejaculation do for production value? That seems to me to be alot less realistic than condoms.

Haha ive neverbeen a fan of thst part, but as I said before, the whole point if porn is that its UNrealistic. If blowing a load in a girls face was typical "normal" sex and only the naughtiest of the naughty girls would let u wear a rubber then rubbers would have been the norm in porn.
