We do not correct you because you are usually right and your comments generally register with myself as commonsense observations of life that don't really require a response.

We don't really debate with you because (in my experience) you generally eschew polarized positions on pretty much everything. Your observations are moderate and substantive while, as above, registering as commonsense observations of life that don't really require a response.

No one calls you names because, again, you don't provoke name calling and there's that thing with that poster back in 2009 who did call you a name and the moderators hunted down the vile offender and beat and flogged him as an object lesson to the rest of us.

My sister's cat shredded my hand and wrist last night after X-mas dinner. An intense session of belly scritches had happened. I thought he fell asleep so I pulled my hand away. The cat went into "NO! I want MOAR!" mode and dug his claws into my arm and pulled me back in. Despite the agony, and my pitiful screaming, the whole thing was far too funny to get mad at him over.
