Canadians might get crazy on occasion, but they're not stupid.

And the police response is completely appropriate. :D

These savages have destroyed their own community because the business that were burned down and looted will probably not becoming back.

True. I've never understood the black community for their penchant to destroy their own neighborhoods when they're upset about something.

You never see anyone else doingthis kind of thing.

There's the black community and there's the savages as seen in the video who don't care about the black community they've destroyed in Ferguson.

True. I can't help but feel bad for the businesses that have been destroyed in all this. They and their employees had nothing to do with what happened to ignite all this bullshit yet they have become victims too.

It always baffles the hell out of me when people at ANY type of protest, demonstration or whatever, use that cause as an excuse to become vandals and thieves.

Never been in Vancouver for game 7, eh?

Edmonton had the 2001 Canada Day riot and the 2006 Stanley Cup playoff riots.

I was perusing the streets of Ferguson on Google Earth and I have to say that some of the parts of town look downright inviting!

The answer, as we're seeing from the new Chief of Police in Detroit is for law abiding citizens to arm themselves as the Constitution provides with that comment about the 'militia'. The other choice is anarchy.

When citizens have to arm themselves because the police can't protect them, that's the definition of anarchy. How do you think they are different?

Movie Central 2 is showing The Purge again tonight, just in case anyone wants to get an idea of what the libertarians & anarchists utopian no-police society would look like.

Gee, they missed the second page that opened up after the $235K was reached, donations are now tax deductible.

I wonder why ?

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/08/2 ... &ir=Canada

A police officer who pushed a CNN journalist on live television in Ferguson, Missouri, this week has been relieved of duty following the discovery of a videotaped speech in which he criticized President Barack Obama, Muslims and gays in the military.

St. Louis County cop Dan Page, a 35-year police veteran, also denounced hate crime laws and boasted of killings he claimed to have committed in the remarks delivered to a group called the Oath Keepers of St. Louis and St. Charles. Its members vow to uphold the Constitution and are drawn from the military, law enforcement and emergency responders.

"Policemen are very cynical. I know I am," Page says from a podium on the video. "I hate everybody. I'm into diversity. I kill everybody."

This story still has some legs to it:

'He had his f*****g hands in the air': New video of Michael Brown incident reveals witnesses' horror at police shooting

New cellphone video reveals eye-witnesses' reaction minutes after shooting
Witness is heard shouting that Brown 'had his f****** hands in the air'

A video has surfaced showing two witnesses' incredulous reactions to the shooting of unarmed teenager Michael Brown by a Ferguson, Missouri police officer.

In the video, one of the contractors standing near the scene throws his own hands up in the air and shouts 'he had his f****** hands in the air' minutes after Brown was gunned down.

Officer Darren Wilson shot dead unarmed 18-year-old Brown on August 9, in an incident that triggered a national debate on race relations and two weeks of widespread protests.

The men's reactions were captured on a cellphone-recorded video obtained by CNN.

I thought that was kind of obvious. All of the gunshots can be explained if he had his hands in the air and was shot from the front. Shoulder wounds and head wounds could only have been from the front, but arm wounds could have been from the back if his arms were down.

But that requires a difficult explanation of his actions. Occam's razor and all that.
