BartSimpson BartSimpson: tritium tritium: Listening to Ann Coulter, you can understand why the terrorist hit the USA on 911. So murdering 3,000 people is justifiable to you because you don't like Ann Coulter? ![Bonk [bonk]](./images/smilies/bonk.gif) ah, didn't say that. I said... "I can now understand why they did it." Of course I don't agree with the actions of 911 and remember them well, I was at the DFW airport on that day, working. Ann Coulter, Glenn Beck, and Rush Limbaugh are relicts of an America that has past, when the U.S. was hated around the world for just what these people are, obnoxious, rude, arrogant and full imperialist tripe. Nothing wrong with being proud of your country, but when you constantly blame minorities (Mulims & Mexicans) for all your problems, think that you can just roll over any country you want (couldn't even handle Iraq) without a fight... you have lost my respect.

Mr_Canada Mr_Canada: tritium tritium: Listening to Ann Coulter, you can understand why the terrorist hit the USA on 911... obnoxious, rude, arrogant, imperialist tripe, the personification of an American. You really confuse the hell out of me. Can you pick a side please? Do you love or hate the USA? It seems to change everyday. Maybe he's a descendant of Whitman: "Do I contradict myself? Very well then I contradict myself, (I am large, I contain multitudes)."

Further... Ann Coulter is on her International Tour as an embassarie to the United States (and FoxNews) spewing hate... you don't think she gives the USA a bad image.

MGX MGX: tritium tritium: Wow!! Freedom of Speech takes the back seat to violence.
Guess Canadians don't know how to respect other peoples opinions unless it's is in agreement with their own..
Sad day for Canada.. That's what really concerns me is not the fact whether I agree or disagree but the fact that she's not allowed to say whatever she wants. It's a blow to freedom of speech. Really?? I'd think it was a victory for free speech. Some Canadians spoke their minds and bitch-face decided to bail out. Of course, the reasoning probably had NOTHING to do with the fact that barely 100 ppl were in the auditorium waiting to listen to her dreck. In case yer unaware, nobody but Coulter and her crew decided they wouldn't speak in Ottawa. The police didn't tell her she couldn't speak, the "gummint" didn't tell her she couldn't speak, she made that decision ALLLL on her own. I'm confused by your stance here. So when some American uber-right wing Republitard spews all the vile crap she wants to in Canada, it's freedom of speech. But when normal everyday citizens practice their right to assembly and peaceful protest, all of a sudden, it's a blow to freedom of speech?? The only argument I have is, let her speak solely on the basis that if we DO get to hear her "message", we'll have more information on just how fucked in the head she actually is.

Yes it was a win for Free Speech, however there was also a threat of violence to suppress her opinions... I disagree with this part of the demonstration. Ann Coulter's views are repugnant, I think we all agree. I personally feel it would have been more productive if the students packed the auditorium, and the minute she started to speak... everyone stand up, turn their backs to her and walk out. However, I have been told that would have failed because it was a sold out show of students who support her ideology.

Well, to be fair, we don't really know how serious the "threat" to her was. If a couple hundred chanting Canadians can chase her away from her little speech, then she ain't nearly as "bad ass" as she and others think she is.
To me, the Ottawa incident just shows me that she doesn't have the nuts to stand up to her "opinions" when faced with a large opposition. If she thought friendly, quiet Canada was going to politely listen to her with our hands neatly folded, well she better learn a few things about this country before she brings her raisin-face up here again.

That's some awful backpeddling. Admit it, sometimes exercising one's freedom of expression reveals what kind of an idiot one can be. Best course is simply to quit stepping on your dick.

Scape Scape: WOW! When I first started up the video I was thinking "Man, is this Megan Kelly ever HOT." Then, when Susan Cole popped up I thought "Wow, she is NOT hot." After listening to the 8-minute exchange, it was pretty clear that the lady on the right was, BY FAR, the hotter of the two.
