I thought I explained my position quite clearly, WITHOUT resorting to childish names and charges. The terms I used are clinical factual terms, based on factual statistics. I didn’t resort to name calling or even suggest that anyone else has to believe what I do.

My first post on this forum questioned a member’s (Lily) stubborn refusal to accept any other position to hers without some nonsensical justification.

if 90% of the population are straight, that can then be defined as a 'normal' baseline. Deviation from that 'norm' is not normal, because it is in the minority of the population.

So saying they are not normal is not biggoted, it is a simple fact. That also does not imply violence, or hatred to said group of people that are in that category.

Sorry that you feel by saying same sex marriage isn't normal but in fact, it isn't. I am not proposing we hunt them down, I am not proposing we stone them, or deny them the same things the 'normal' group have.

But it IS a distinction by definition because it is deviant behavior (from the normal). That doesn't make that statement bigoted.
