Regina Regina:
It is a shame that at least one didn't survive. Be nice to have him get a daily shit kicking in prison for the rest of his life.

Might backfire though. It depends on how infected by relativist theories and philosophies the French courts are. After the decision the European court handed down in favour of damages to be awarded to Somali pirates a French court could have just as easily gone into full lefty-dickhead mode and made these terrorists into the real 'victims'. If their courts are anything like most French politicians are it's highly doubtful they'd be as tough on these murderers as the French police just were.

I genuinely miss the old type of European that didn't mind blood running down his jaws. Beats the spectacle of the last two days with that irrelevant squish of a French president bleating on and on about 'tolerance' and 'understanding' and all these other pointless words & phrases people from that side of the spectrum trot out when some of the hard kind of work needs to be done on some of the deviants out there.

Hostage freed, suspects killed. Yay. Now the other hostage taking. Even then, I don't suppose that will be the end of it.

Looks like hundreds, maybe thousands dead, in a Boko Haram attack in Nigeria.

Different fronts in the same war of islam vs. everyone else.

You (happily) haven't been to a French prison.

Must look like Tunis inside.

Besides, he would be just another jihadi to cruise around and infect others.

16.43 Dammartin: The two Charlie Hebdo massacre suspects apparently came out shooting before being killed by security forces.

Not much choice for the cops, in either situation.

Same as the one in Australia.

Same as our two.

The shooter in the kosher store is dead too. Haven't found the girlfriend yet.

Unless, of course, you'd like to concede that 'moderate' moslems will support radical terrorists.

Unfortunately they do not have the exclusive rights to religious zealots. The US has it's fair share too......along with the politicians that have run your country. It wouldn't be far off to call the KKK terrorists either. There were parts of the US that banned the movie "Life of Brian" and threatened the actors. A religious retard is a just that. Just depends how much fire power they want to use.

Having said all that........there is a time where they should not be allowed to let preach this prehistoric religion as they have been. It is now.

The reports I heard say the men were radicalized in prison after being convicted of trying to recruit fighters in France for the war in Iraq. At that time, their lawyer said they were 'punks', not hard core jihadis.

You might want to read that again, radicalized after being convicted of radical activity.

:?

Going from recruiters to picking up a gun and shooting people is a big step. And like I said, it's not me saying it, it's the report I heard on the news.

The Times of India was reporting 2000. I posted it yesterday, but it looks like that story was overlooked. :(

Then you concede that moderate moslems will support terrorism?

I concede that everyone is an individual, with their own views and preferences. None of the moderate Muslims I know support terrorism, but that does not imply every moderate Muslim does.

I also don't think I'd call someone who is recruiting fighters in a Western country for a holy war in the middle east a 'moderate'.

Maybe you can outline and define the levels of Muslims so he could choose one?

$1:
Those who fled reported that they had been unable to bury the dead, and corpses littered the town's streets, he said.

Boko Haram was now in control of Baga and 16 neighbouring towns after the military retreated, Mr Bukar said.

While he raised fears that some 2,000 had been killed in the raids, other reports put the number in the hundreds.

Mr Lawan, the senator for northern Borno, called on government troops to stop "dilly-dallying" and to fight back to protect residents.

"The indiscriminate killings went on and on and on," he told BBC Focus on Africa.
