Yesterday, I saw lots of tweets and posts on Facebook comparing our media responses with those south of the border and it's apparent by that load of crap that the Sun's coverage was on the same level as CNN & Faux News.

First of all lame brain, It's "you're" which is a contraction of "you are", not "your". Had you read the occasional, real newspaper while growing up on that ranch, you might have learned how to spell, as well.

Personally, I do not have a Facebook account, nor do I consider "Sun News" to be anything more than cheap entertainment.

I agree. That's why I don't engage in pathological altruism, the practice of aiding and enabling people who hate you and who want to cause harm to you or your way of life.

I'm saying you need to protect your rights and freedoms by asking those who are making war on you to leave Canada.

But you're not there yet because the level of carnage that's required for you to part with your well-intentioned notions hasn't been reached yet.

Maybe if there's a re-enactment of the Beslan tragedy or the Nairobi Mall slaughter you'll change your mind. Or maybe not. In any case, we'll see because I guarantee you that what we've seen this month is not an aberration, it's the start of the same pattern I've seen in too many other places.

Don't get me wrong, I hope nothing bad happens. But hope isn't enough. There has to be action to prevent this from happening again and the only action that will absolutely prevent this from happening again is to ask these people to quit their fanatical socio-political-religious system or leave.

And just to be clear, I don't support a 'kill them all policy'. To the contrary what I propose would prevent a 'kill them all' reaction.

The only time the Marines are present at the US Capitol would be for a state funeral. Whether or not they have live ammunition issued to them is up to the CO at 8th and I.

The Marines who guard the White House are armed and their magazines are not merely decorative. At night they trade their dress uniforms for other clothing and their finely polished rifles are exchanged for long guns with night vision and IR scopes.
