andyt andyt: It's just meaningless anyway.
I'm trying to point out how anybody you disagree with you deem a Russian agent. There is a large minority in East Ukraine with legitimate grievances and points of view (I don't agree with their pov, but who am I tell them differently). Much better for the success of Ukrain to take those people's opinions into account, maybe even keep the country together that way. Then, slowly, maybe it can be shown to them that the WEst offers a better future for them than Russia does, and they slowly move that way.
Caleb, you were talking about PF, right? or do only my insults count? He compared you to toilet xxx , no blow back on that one.

I had to sing a very long, elaborate (and beautiful!) piece of music in Russian a few years ago. We had a lot of pronunciation coaching. Russian vowels and consonants are formed almost completely differently than English ones are and it was hard to learn.

stratos stratos: AndyT you say this on page 101
“But this tells me that despite what's being pushed here, and in the media, this is not just Russia stirring the shit.”
But now are saying this.
“Russia is not inciting the insurgents as much as it was.”
So your comment on page 101 is and was utter bullshit and Russia was “stiring shit” or you are full of crap with the statement you make on this page. You can’t have it both ways of Ohhh Russia is not stirring the shit then say ohhh Russia is backing off from stirring the shit up.
You go on to say
“Kyiv finally woke up and started confronting the insurgents militarily (ignoring the pleas of PF not to do so)”
After saying this on page 93
“The West can't support you if you just stand there helpless.”
I’m curious what now exactly do you think the west should do. Please don’t say Sanctions because that was already being done prior to your post on page. What now should the west do to aid/help the Ukraine?
“Maybe they can talk talk talk rather than war war war themselves to a resolution”.
Yet you advocated for action by the Ukraine Gov. and now that it has done so you now want them to talk talk talk. Isn’t that counter to what you were demanding they do for the West to help them? "It's not just Russia stirring the shit" doesn't mean that Russia isn't stirring the shit. Get it? Your second two "contradictions" actually agree with each other. Not sure what your problem is there. At first the Ukrainian soldiers stood there with their thumbs up their asses while the insurgents took more and more areas. Then finally they decided to actually attack these insurgents - good. Sanctions should be done. You do realize that the sanctions are quite mild don't you? That the west can enact much harsher sanctions, but that they would hurt the west a lot, not just Russia. It makes sense to me to confront insurgents who take over with force of arms by using the military. That doesn't mean you can't talk to them as well, just as teh West has started talking to the taliban. It would appear that Russia has backed off from invading Ukraine at this point. They are calling for talks, everybody is calling for talks - as pointed out in one of my posts. Ideally only the two Ukrainian sides would be in these talks, let them work it out without interference. Probably not realistic, so Russia and the west can also be in the talks. Even the Kyiv appointed governor was saying the region should have more autonomy. Maybe they can work that out and avoid civil war.

I always said, with Cyrillic you could not buy a vowel in that country.

You did not have a ffn clue about the situation & never did. You still don't. Nothing has changed. You do not debate, you troll, you insult. Myself I was man enough to apologize to you. Have you got that in you. Well do you?

Goober911 Goober911: What is your source for stating the Russia has lessened support for the insurgents. As to PF he has gained a rep for being on the money. How well have you done? If you're so out of it that you don't know that Russia asked the insurgents to hold off the referendum, then there really isn't any point discussing with you?

Goober, what is it you want me to apologize for exactly? You babble on about intel, I don't really know what that means. I take my intel from the Western reporters who are actually on the ground in East Ukraine. What is your source of intel. Do you really think PF sitting in West Ukraine is the font of all intel?
I don't read most of your posts, so I didn't know you had apologized, nor do I know what you apologized for.
While we're at it, why not bring some of my quotes where I was trolling and where the insults I threw were anything near the insults thrown at me.

But your ability to read the situation is gravely in doubt. You change like the wind. As has been pointed out to you. As you cannot realize this I intend to waste no effort in helping you understand the undercurrents in play. Not stating I have it right on, I can be in error as we all can. But PF has been bang on the money, every time. How have you fared? Read your posts, compare to his, compare to what has occurred on the ground. Then reply to my post on this.

Don't know what you are talking about. PF defended not acting against the insurgents, the govt acted and Russia didn't invade. PF has everybody who's anti-West a russian agent, reporters tell us there's significant support for the pro-russian side. He has his biases and they are very clear here. Maybe they fit in with yours, which is why you think he's the font of intel, but there are other povs that need to be taken into account.

No, I have my own POV, and they have seemed to merge with ongoing events, as aside from Putin invading. You have a hardon for him. Easily noted. So i have no wish to continue this useless discussion as you did not bother to read your posts, his posts, compare them to events, daily as they transpired. So you have no wiliness to discuss. So I will wait for you next, uninformed post. Now I am not far from bed as I rise early for work. Take the time to review what I posted.
