In the end all of these land claims end up being about money and one group of people openly ignoring Canadian laws because we let them get away with it. I think we should decide to occupy an urban reserve and see how long it lasts.
There is a base hypocrasy here when natives complain about how their land was lost. Territory was taken in native society, and often by force. Plain and simple. Resources were traded for, but if they could be taken, they were. It's a very simple fact conveniantly ignored.
Europeans came along, and simply beat them at their own game.
