Yea, politics isn't life, it's just politics. Some people don't know the difference.

EyeBrock EyeBrock: Yea, politics isn't life, it's just politics. Some people don't know the difference. I agree I voted NDP, my Candidate lost, horribly. But what ever, Canada elected Harper. Do I like Harper? no. But that dosent change he will still be PM. I just move on with my life, there is no point to bashing and name calling. there is simply no point.

RUEZ RUEZ: lily lily: A larger minority - yeah, that's something to get excited about. So if he's as bad as you guys say, and you've gone on and on about the fixed election thing. Why has he gotten even more support now? Because the least amount of people in Canadian history bothered to vote.

lily lily: ridenrain ridenrain: Once and for all time: Fixed election dates never applied to a minority government. The minority government or the opposition could have brought down the government at any time.. but Dion didn't.
He talked about it but he didn't..
43 times..
Why should voters have any confidance in Liberals who say one thing but don't do anything? What was the point of having this election? You'd have bitched if Dion HAD brought down the government... now you're bitching because he didn't? Welcome to the schizophrenic, sour grapes world of the Conservative Party and its followers.

tritium tritium: ridenrain ridenrain: It's horrible spelling for strategic voting. It was supposed to be some huge wall against a CPC win but it looked like it was a fart in a thunderstorm. Oh that stupid thing on Facebook. That was gay as shit, and very unethical if you ask me... hmmmm.... 'gay as shit' and dropping semi N bombs. No, I'm fairly certain few are interested in your ethics. Idiot.

tritium tritium: ShepherdsDog ShepherdsDog: Not going to happen. That's too wide a spectrum, compared to the Alliance and PC merger. There are plenty of fiscal conservatives within the Liberal Party, that have more in common with the CPC than the NDP. remember all those red tories that went over to the Liberal Party? Something like a merger of the 3 'Left' parties would dive them and a fair number of liberals into the arms of the CPC. That was the problem with the Liberals. They lost what they stand for, so the NDP is picking up seats. They need to return to their true Liberal roots. The Liberals stand for something other than the national anthem?

Shouldn't you be embroiled in steamy sausage fest on your ship, right about now? You see this is what's so funny, Canadian's really have to be the biggest BIGGOTS on earth. God the N word. Depending in the context, calling someone a "token n word" pls. When in Texas 5 of us go out to the bar, out of the five, one is African American. The Token N word of the bunch.. and yes we say it to his face. Obama will be America's token N word. What you need to do is lighten up, or grow up. Now go back to your sausage fest... idiot.

DerbyX DerbyX: Are you always an idiot? Sorry, what did you say Heather Mallick? So when are the Liberals going to have that leadership race. The N word is not really the problem. It’s hatred, and it is oppression, and it is racism that is the fucking problem - and you [can’t] hide the fact that racism exists by going, "You can never ever say this word, it’s bad!" I argee with total Free Speech, I don't agree with white supremist or other hate groups. I hear people say, oh you can't say that word, it's racist. I would like to honestly know how many minority friends that same person has, not acquaintances, friends they over for dinner, go out to the bars with, bowling.. that are minorities. (generally they don't... that's a biggot)

tritium tritium: Somehow status quo feels good. Now only if the dumb fucks would all learn to work together and get shit done... Harper won't waste another 10 million in taxpayers money to try to get a majority. His party wrote the book on how to make sure things in Parliament don't get done. I wouldn't count on it. $1: btw, I voted NDP in a Conservative strong hold. It was more a protest vote in Calgary. Always vote for the underdog. It doesn't matter if you won't win, you still increase polling numbers. If people see numbers go up, they might be encouraged to vote for that party next time.

Eisensapper Eisensapper: I am quite happy the greens lost everywhere, it shows how they really are not a real party. So you're happy that the status quo doesn't care about choice in democracy?

llama66 llama66: I too voted NDP in Calgary, I'm sure I'll be subject to some witty remark from some partisan person. Harper in my opinion, is not what most Canadians want. If 37% of the vote should not constitute a government. The Liberals need to dump Dion, he is not what the Canadian liberals need at this time. I don't understand how the BQ can be a federal party when they only represent one province, perhaps we do need to look at changing election laws to disqualify the Bloc from being a FEDERAL party, federal to me, means it has the interests of ALL Canadians in mind, and has representatives in all provinces and territories. Any party can represent whoever they want. Anything less would be undemocratic. If people vote for that party, that's all that's needed. We get the government we deserve.

Canadaka Canadaka: I think the pundents on most the news networks have it right, no one really won tonight. I am dissapointed that the Liberals lost so many seats, i knew they wouldnt win.
I am really sad that Long time North Van MP Don Bell lost tonight, he has won 15 elections in a row in all 3 levels of goverment and even went through a heart attach during this campaign and was back out within days.
But i don't think there is really anything for you conservatives to be so happy about. All that has been proven is that Its impossible for Harper to ever get a majority even with all the cards in his favour. And we have wasted over $250 million tax payer dollars to determine this. Conservative voters got what Stephen Harper wanted, a chance to beat their chests because they won another election, regardless of the cost.

robmik43 robmik43: Some of the grapes seem a little sour today. I see this term being thrown around a lot lately, being used in very odd ways. Do any of you actually know wtf it means? It means you've got what you wanted but it didn't turn out how you expected, so now you're complaining.
