eureka eureka:
but it is the only country in the world with a CCS programme and it is used with its oil to bury deep beneath the sea.

And what about Albertas and Saskatchewans carbon capture systems???

eureka eureka:
Try reading it again, PA, and quit lying about what I posted.
I don't have to lie about what you posted. What you post is already lies and bullshit. I'm just providing a free service by pointing them out. Nah it's ok, no need to thank me
$1:
It does not matter a damn how many you bring in without emissions.
Sure it does. You got caught in a lie and now it's burning your ass.
eureka eureka:
And Norway is not what you say it is, btw. But it is not very relevant since it is a very small emitter anyway. Its oil fields have put it into a higher category but it is the only country in the world with a CCS programme and it is used with its oil to bury deep beneath the sea.
Norway is EXACTLY what I said it is. You seem to have this problem where you can't differentiate between emissions from power generation and emissions from other sources. And the fact that Norway is a VERY small emitter actually makes it quite relevant.

eureka eureka:
It is where emissions are going that is a question. Nothing else.
So uh, where's all those emissions going from the coal mines your heroes, Germany, are still operating?

See, this is where your whole argument falls apart. Canada has a 75% emission-free generating capacity. But the "big" contributor to our emissions(apparently) is the oil sands.
Germany isn't anywhere near 75% emission-free power generation and it don't look like they will be anytime soon. They still operate a sizable number of large, open pit coal mines and yet THEY are what we should be aspiring to?

Still waiting to hear where that 8400MW of renewable energy McGuinty had installed are, by the way.

Why are you guys still engaing that thing? It's like laughing at the retarded kid for shitting his pants. You know it's incapable of anything else. Lies are all it has or is cappable of contributing. Ignore, as Eyebrock says, is your friend....or are you trying to get it to create composte for your spring flower beds and gardens?

So the dog has emerged to snarl again. Nothing to contribute: too dumb to argue.

It's late, I'm bored and quite frankly, from the research I've been doing as a result of this, I've been learning a lot of pretty cool shit. Not from eureka obviously  but stuff like technical aspects and whatnot.

Oh well...it provides some form of entertainment to you....no real information, unless you're trying to discover how to lose and argument in one post.

When you have some let me know. Still waiting to hear about that 8400MW of renewable energy you claim that McGuinty had installed since coming to power.
You've been dodging the shit out of that haven't you?

It's ok, I'm used to liars, my sister was a pro. When caught in a lie, deflect, deflect, deflect.

I wonder if the simpleton realizes that he's likely done more damage to environmental causes than anything else. A lot of people are going to associate his rants, lies, exaggerations and ramblings with some real legitimate causes. he's actually done them a disservice, much the same way that the uniformed retards in PeTA have hurt the animal rights cause with their stupidity. Pretty fucking pathetic....but I think most people get that aspect about he/she/it already.

And to make sure the correct information gets out there, I must correct an error on my part. I stated that hydro-electric generation accounts for 59% of Canada's total power generation. Well, those were 2006 figures. As of 2009, it accounts for over 61% of our total power generation.
Nuclear accounts for 15%. Wind accounts for over 2%.

Seems Canada is biting at the heels of an 80% emission-free energy grid if we aren't already there. Pretty damn good for a country/gov't that "doesn't give a shit about the environment".
It's also estimated that there are 30,000 "micro" geo-thermal units across Canada not connected to the grid. Canada, which is the only Pacific Rim country that doesn't employ geo-thermal power, is currently experimenting with a 100-300MW geo-thermal plant.
Now THAT'S a resource of which Canada has no shortage, that doesn't have the handicap of being utterly useless when it's too windy or when there's no wind, and for solar, when it's the middle of winter and the sun hasn't poked through the 10/10ths cloud for over a week. All while vital metal components and parts expand and contract with the extremes of bitter, cold winters and roasting, hot summers.

If it did, it would have shut up many pages threads ago

Most countries have certain amounts (proportions) of their energy produced by emission free methods. So what point are you still trying to make. Other than that you have not the reach to get beyond that irrelevant statistic.

Ask yourself why Canada, a small country, is in the top ten emitters and per capits hovering around the top. That is what it is about. Canada is one of the worst culprits and it has no federal plan to do anything about it.

Is that so difficult to understand?

And ask yourself why you are too pigheaded to understand how solar and wind power are used. I realise that you are probably proud to have managed to learn a long word like intermittent. Next, you have to learn how it is resolved. I told you but look it up for yourself if you need other sources.

And, if you are going to echo the poodle, then forget this. I am not interested in that jerk and his bark.
